Two tracks in one week? I don't know, but here's another one for everyone! This was a collaborative effort with Danky. He provided the heightmap from an unfinished MXS project, which I left largely unchanged (aside from just making it playable in MXB). This was something we started a while back and I kinda forgot about... Found it the other day in my files and decided to finish it up finally!

It's somewhat short, I was doing ~ 1:30 laps. Track cameras all work flawlessly, haven't found any odd jumps between cameras in my testing. Big thanks to the community for helping with my questions and getting deeper into what you can do with the files available! Gio and Ruubs for objects (seems as always, maybe i'll learn to model next).

Enjoy! It's been a fun little project, I must say.

Tracks / MMX Sand

It's time for another track! Learned alot since Fernley, and finally got some drive to make a new track. Rode here July 4 (first ride in a year jeez) and took some pictures, basically made the track from memory.
It is another sand track (clearly), from Marysville, California. tried to emulate an early spring sunrise with the lighting, hope you enjoy!
As always, all feedback is welcome and desired.

Thanks to TFC and Mouk for the tutorials. Mouk Gio and Ruubs for objects/assets. Everyone in the discord that helped my barrage of questions. And big thanks to Kraken for helping me test and catch glaring issues, as well as everyone I sent beta links out to for their feedback. None of this would be possible without the work everyone has put into this game.

*Updated checkpoints, lap times should all count now

Here's a cool tool I found to help find a realistic sun position for tracks you're making.
You can plug in a location, date, and time. Under "geodata" there is relative sun height, lat/long degrees.
With a little intuitive thinking, you can relate these values to your amb files.

For Example:
Using this ^ image, I got X=10, Y=4, Z=-1 for a pretty good morning shadow

Hope this tool helps in future tracks' makers!

Well, it's finally here! The Fernley Sandbox. I've spun easily more laps here than any other track growing up, so naturally I would make it for my first track. This is one of the multiple layouts the track has run over the decades.
Northern Nevada sand, rough as hell

Big thanks to everyone in the discord for helping me out, TCF Mouk and Giopanda for the tutorials and assets, and of course Pibs for everything he's built into this game.

Have fun guys and leave all the feedback you can (you won't hurt me).
