Hey guys! Recently my game kept saying bike mismatch when entering online servers (all), I watched videos on it and none of them applied. I then went to the mods page and installed the newest tire update thinking that was the problem... nothing. So then i deleted all my oem bikes and reinstalled them, and now when i load into a server my game crashes everytime. I'm not super great with the techy side of how this all works and need a lot of help! Thanks so much

hey man i literally posted everywhere about the new bike tyres that cause bike mismatch if you're missing them. i've posted it here in the forum, in discord, on steam. it was on top of mxb-mods for almost a week.

Yeah, I'm working on it. Yesterday the whole server crashed and my HDD was 100% loaded and the server just shat itself.
I bought a bigger one this morning and I'm working and getting it back up, unfortunately it takes longer than expected.
Hey thanks! I appreciate it. I need to figure out this tyre patch thing. I was racing a lot online before that. I just didn't catch it.
Weird, in the last couple of days I can't get into any public servers, I'm getting the "Bike Mismatch" message. While I had trouble originally getting the patch to install correctly, I'd finally gotten it to work, and I'd been racing pretty regularly online. Then suddenly, this.
The only thing I did differently was to download some new gear and helmet skins. Seems like the day after that I started having trouble. Is it remotely possible that this could have anything to do with it?
FYI, the tire patch is still functioning within the game. I still have access to all the new tire options in the garage menu.
I got the OEM .71 pack and assume the newest tyre patch was included in it. I still had problems joining every server that registered a ping last night. Most of the time I persist and find one that I can eventually connect to. If your game crashes while loading, just fire it up and try the same server again and you'll get it. Sometimes I can join on the first try and play all night.
FYI - Couple buddies had the same issue recently. They had not played the game for quite a while and installed the OEM bikes that come with tyre mod. Unfortunately, that still has the V1 tyre mod. After they both installed the V2 tyre mod patch at link below no mas problemos:).

Any update on when or if the tire update will be available? Nothing on the mxb mods site. I'm assuming it's still a requirement to be able to race online?
I'm also waiting for a new link for the tyre patch to go up. I keep getting "error 404" pages with every link i've been able to find. I really wanna race online but continue to get the same message as everyone else. BIKE MISMATCH.
Just throwing shit against a wall, but would uninstalling the game and starting from scratch help?

I'm hearing you man, it's frustrating not being able to race online. It's crazy that a patch requires to go online isnt included but has also gone missing!!!
Only new to the game, really enjoying it but want to improve by going up against some players!
You guys must have something else wrong if you have the full 17.2 OEM pack and you still get a mismatch. No patches are required. Clear all your mod folders and the install folder and start again.
