Just as the title says. I have an xbox one controller and when I go to calibrate, it will recognize all of the controllers buttons. I then click out of that and go to bind the "lean" command. It says to lean right.. I then try to move my joystick right and nothing. I then try to bind the throttle. When I click on the option it immediately binds my left mouse controller. I try binding the break, click on it, and now my left mouse button is my break. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I have calibrated my xbox controller through my computer. I also have MX Simulator and was able to bind all of my buttons with ease on that. I'm not sure what to do. Anyone have any thoughts?
Make sure you've calibrated your controller in the game, the calibration button is top left of the input page in settings.
Also make sure you don't have any other controllers plugged in.

When I click on the calibrate button in the game it shows all of my controller buttons and everything works perfectly and seems to be calibrated correctly. But when I go to actually bind the buttons, they will not recognize my controller. Even when I click to bind the throttle button it gives me no options to bind it just automatically binds my left mouse click. Same with my break binding.

The only other thing I have plugged in is my wireless mouse.
There should be no need to calibrate the Xbox One Controller, thanks to the integrate XInput support.

MX Bikes supports multiple controllers.

It's not possible to bind the mouse to controls in MXB...
Also the Xbox One Controller is supported without having to calibrate it.
Interesting... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm using a Sony Vaio F series laptop. I have a pc that I first installed the game on and it works perfectly. But when I installed it on my laptop so I could play in front of the tv, the bindings were as messed up as I described. I'm currently re installing the entire game to see if that fixes it.

was there ever a fix to this issue? seems i have replicated his issue. also on an msi laptop for when i travel. plug my ps4 controller in and even after calibrating on steam and in game, unplugging replugging, but when i go to bind the right trigger it's the left mouse button and the right thumbstick is the cursor movement itself. would really like to get this working so i can race in my leagues when im out of town. my controller work on every other game on my laptop with no issues. just this game.
Go to Steam -> Settings -> Controller -> General Controller Settings.
Make sure that all "Configuration Support" is off.
Nobody have troubles with XBOX ELite 2 on Steam? Disconnected sometimes for me, it's not cool... Nobody have tips for that? :-[
