DUDE I FIXED IT. IN STEAM CONTROLLER SETTINGS, MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS UNCHECKED AND IT WILL WORK AGAIN

I have the exact same issue, did u find a fix? It worked for a while and now all of the sudden its like this. I tries different controllers, unplugged all my usb hardware to no succes. Its soo annoying because I litterally bought a new pc to play this game since my old pc broke down and now after spending a good amount of money im still not able to play ny favorite game
