I thought this topic helped a lot in mx sim so i figured why not make another here so if you think you have a good lean/suspension/ete. setup post it here.
;D
NO CONTROLLER SETTINGS THEIRS A TOPIC FOR THAT
Yeah, I need a setup too, anybody got one?
As far as controller setup goes I think mine is pretty ideal but would like to see other's as well. I can't find a good spot for "sit", though.
On XBOX360 controller:
Lean- Left Stick
Throttle- Right Trigger
Front Brake- Left Trigger
Rear Brake- X
Clutch- Right Stick Press
F/B Lean- Left Stick
L/R Lean- Right Stick
Shift Up- B
Shift Down- Y
Sit- (Temporary) Either Left Button or Left Stick Press
I can't use sticky Sit because it's terribly unnatural feeling, but no button combo feels right to me. I can't use "A" like I did in MXS or else I can't Rider Lean L/R while sitting :( Post more setups!
My controller layout as of now (xbox 360 controller wired)
Lean- Left Stick
Throttle- Right Trigger
Front Brake- Y
Rear Brake- Left Trigger
Clutch- LB
F/B Lean- Left Stick
L/R Lean- Right Stick
Shift Up- A
Shift Down- RB
Sit- X
Tear-off- B
Change camera- Select
Reset- Start
Electric Start- Right Stick click down
Really wish there was the ability to assign multiple actions to 1 button. It would make things like the low speed buttons and Brakes so much better.
I have a pretty decent suspension setup in game.
as for controller.
left stick - lean
right stick - L/R F/B lean
A - shift down
B - shift up
LB - clutch
RB - rear break
RT - throttle
LT - Brake
Left Click - sit
Right Click - look back
B - reset
start - starter
select - view
Y - back up

I'll export it and upload it here when I get home.
My DS3 is set up as:
Right trigger: throttle
Right button: clutch
Left trigger: rear brake
Left button: front brake
x: upshift
triangle: downshift
square: sticky sit
Left joystick: lean
Right joystick: body lean f/b l/r
d pad down: reset
d pad left/right: low speed fwd/rev
right joystick button: tearoffs
select: view
Total noob question.. but what does sit / sit direct actually do? I don't really seem to notice a difference. I'm loving the game but right now I mostly just excel at falling over. :P
Thanks for posting your configs, it's helping me set up my controller.
So just quickly im setting up some stuff,
Whats Lean at the top for? as we have a f/b and l/r lean at the bottom?
the question is what is l/r left haha, mine does nothing haha

You gotta turn off 'auto lean' under simulation in settings
Here is my setup if anyone wants to try it. It works pretty decent for me. Especially in turns.

It goes in Documents/piboso/mxbikes/profiles/your profile/setups/ and just drop it in both tracks in the 350xf folder.

right trigger=throttle

We were talking about suspension setup, not controller setups haha. Thanks tone, that setup works a lot better.

No problem man.
I knew that, but figured I'd throw up my controller settings since that's the only part I can set up ;D
Xbox 360 Controller users... what are your deadzone/sensitivity settings? Especially on the primary lean controls.
