450 Lap record, 107.6

a second suggestion would be to add a slight F/B leaning camera to the tank cam.
48
Is there a way to change how far forward the rider leans while in 1st person? I've been running the tank camera for a while and im trying to learn the 1st person leaning forward setting. But it feels like hes trying to kiss his front fender every time i lean forward and its a massive throw off.

My suggestion is to add a setting where you can adjust how far the rider forward leaning camera moves.

or even have the same settings but reversed, so when you lean back its actually like you're hanging off the bike.

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: Dual key binding

Quote from: teeds on January 04, 2020, 12:27:49 PMI think you can manually edit your controller.txt file to achieve this, find the input already set and copy the settings over.

yeah bang on, I figured it out 10 minutes after posting the thread haha

Exactly that though, only thing is you have to change the controls so they lean the opposite way to normal counter act the leaning.

Suggestions and wishlist / Dual key binding

Id love to be able to bind my L/R lean and my normal LEAN to the same analog stick.

As a Mx sim player with a single stick for many years im finding it difficult to adjust to the dual controls.

But being able to turn normally and have the rider lean under the same control would be unreal

1. The front end stability is basically non existent, it may be a setup issue but I'm finding the front end traction is null and I can't trust it going into corners.

2. Even with the suspension set to in game concrete it still feels too soft, I'm bottoming out off basically every jump.

3. Even with realistic soft suspension the bike still feels skatey, you touch the brakes a tad too hard and you're down. You hit any sort of braking bump under load. You Die. I've resorted to dropping my brake settings to 50% gain so I can drag them, but when they're dragging you barely even slow down.

Regarding the front brake, I was in the "this controller is gonna fly out the window next time I fall" mood too but then I fiddled with my settings a lot. I have almost nullified the problem on my end, I can still brake really hard but it's not ice-skatting as soon as I touch the lever. It smoothes out the early part of the action and removes the brutal changes, causing the washing out.

Settings - Advanced - Brake:
Linearity 75%
Smooth Press 50%
Smooth release 25%
Gain 100%

I'll give it a whirl, cheers dude!

There's a lot of things I like, and a lot of things that still shit me to no end.

The guys have already covered everything that's great, and solid effort, it's an amazing update.

but, the things that I'm still struggling with.

4. Slow speed stability, I damn near threw my controller after I reset 9 times and kept sliding out or falling over.  I finally figured out you gotta be super smooth with the throttle. But even so, if you're on a hill you're basically rooted.

I feel as though it's so close to being some great, but it's just not quite there.

BUT I DIGRESS, I haven't played the game since Beta 3 and from what I played before hand it's a MASSIVE update. Please keep it up Pib/snappe because the game has insane potential.

Hi there, I did some playing around with the new physics and I can whip pretty consistently.

But even when I get a smooth looking whip. The rider still does silly movements in the air.

So for the next update could you guys try address that please?

Thank you!

-Ben.

I hold the record on Maryland with a 1:59 but Connor almost has me beat :(
And i cant for the life of me imagine beating Ben's time on practice track. I feel like imgoing as fast as I can with my 2:04.. I must be hitting slow lines or something haha (or i just suck, but shhhh)

I don't know if they're are slow lines, but the finish line and where the pitboard comes up are different. That's what screwed me around.

The finish line is the first big tabletop after you leave the pits.

I don't even think a 2:01 is that fast. I think it's only a matter of time before someone drops into the mid to low 1:50s.

Fov 110 makes it looks close to this, but i totally agree it should be tweaked alittle. also the whipping and scrubbing is alittle poor right now but overall i think right now if they listen to the community it will kill mx sim.

110 made it look close, I agree. But anything over 90 starts to look like a fish eye. I'm all for the way the camera leans like a swivel. But to have another camera where it feels like the bike leans more than the rider would be mint.
