I believe the tga must be named correctly. For the bike it should be called livery.tga

Download this and put it in the MX Bikes/plugins folder:

http://www.kartracing-pro.com/downloads/xinput.dli

It will split the triggers into 2 axis!

OH MY GOD SNAPPE PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS UNIVERSAL!!! I use a logitech xinput controller for most games but i hate how you cant press both triggers at same time and have both functions work at the same time. Thats what splitting the axis does right? Im in desperate need of this please tell me thats what this is!

That is what it does, yes

I assume the Sabertooth functions as a standard 360 pad in windows.. So there's no reason why it shouldn't work!

The left to right lean(bike) feels very sensitive, might just be my settings.

Have you tried adjusting the deadzone / linearity at all?

The other problems are known, will be worked on!

Notes:

  • Tick the OpenAL redistributable box when installing, otherwise you might not hear any sound.
  • Make sure you calibrate your controller before trying to assign axis! (Calibration button at the top of Settings>Input page)
  • You can change your race name and number in Profiles
  • If you purchase a license, to race online you must register here:
    http://stats.mx-bikes.com/register.php
Leave 'Old Nickname' field empty if it's your first registration.
  • If you are using an XBOX 360 pad, you might find it useful to put this file in the MX Bikes/plugin folder to allow the triggers axis to be split:

i found my objects but they are off the map.

Wow that's weird. You are saving the objects as environment.edf right? Not background.edf?
If that's not it then it might be a scale problem?

I've ruined my center line like 10 times already at the last segment.

How? My advice would be to save it as you go. Centerline > Save As

http://docs.piboso.com/wiki/index.php/TrackEd#Centerline

To place pits / startgates outside the centerline you need to make sure absolute placement radio button is selected.

a diffuse map doesn't show up for some reason.

Weird, do you get any warning or errors when exporting the scenery edf?
Textures power of 2? Textures are tgas?

I've updated the docs a bit.
Also there is a section on Masks.

This track will have no sky, you need to add a sky for each condition and regenerate the .bat files (both or just map?)

You don't need to re-generate anything for skies or backgrounds, just make sure the files are in the same directory as the .map

OK SOLVED.
Sorry folks, I think a slightly old version of mapview got packed into the tracktools download by mistake.
Will update tomorrow!

You can fix it temporarily by deleting / renaming background.edf
