Title: How to get CRF450 Paint to appear glossy?
Post by: JacobPhillips1221 on March 06, 2021, 05:46:15 PM
Hey guys, I have just started to make my own custom skins for my OEM CRF450. I noticed that the default paint for the OEM Template is a flat finish. Is there anyway to make the paint glossy? I know this is a weird question but it would help a lot if someone can give me a answer. Thank you guys!

You could use reflection map which I assume there is in the paint template.. But let's be honest, motocross bike plastics aren't MotoGP faring or sports car panels. They aren't glossy..

The only real glossy part would most likely be the decals.

I'm new here and don't know much but I think by choosing the brightest a colors possible like brightest white or darkest black seemed to make it appear a little more glossy to me.
Also last night I started to look for gimp tutorials on YouTube and there's some showing how to make glossy and shiny texts and logos.  I think that should apply to your paint as well.
Hope this helps
