today we bring to you Florida Tracks and Trails Pro Track. track is mixture of 3 different types of soil/dirt, so it makes for great racing. super fun track to shred laps on and deformation works amazing on it :) . Track heightmap and finish building was done by me, finishing up and textures were done by Asdrael, and geo did camera and marshals. badstar had started on textures but we eventually come up with the idea to have Astradel do them..

this is amazing work. honestly, really awesome heightmap. rides so good on a 450. only thing that ruins it is the replay buffer bug and damn render bug haha COME ON PIBOSO!!

mx2 is cool cause you can go wide open all the time and you have to brake in front of the tripples to get them as doubles clean.
on mx1 bike you can clear everything but its so challenging not to fall down while go wide open out of corners... the tabletops where you have to break in front of are super fun...

You mean from my video? It is not a replay, it is my first person setting in game (helmet camera, with the settings explained in my SX tutorial thread).

True the big squares issue is back,dont know why!
For a night time version to look good, you'd need multiple light sources. Which we don't have right now, hence why my SX tracks "at night" still have a sun.
And for the drawing distance, it might have to do with the thickness of the layers. I wanted deformation to appear rather fast and look good, which made me use some thin layers... too thick, they simply didn't show fast enough.
Thank god for Astradel! lol

Sorry for OT, but just yesterday I fired up Paleta and I have the same issue (I thought it was gone).
Strange, because I've not had any problems like this with FTT or Paleta.. Maybe there is a bug somewhere..

I love this track on a 450 but I can't seem to find the right gearing for the two big triples and its driving me crazy!
Track now registered, forgot to do it and the PiBoSo's registration update was a good reminder ;)

Stock gearing should make you overjump on all OEM 450s. Even worse on the standard 450 tbh...
Yup, for example the big triple after the big step up, on a 450 you can go over the roller in 3rd at low speed on the OEM, pin it in 3rd with some forward lean and clear the whole thing.
I do strugle with the big step up triple but I think that's mainly the face of the take off is a bit uneven and steep.

Hello everyone! I would like to ask anyone who can mark the image the correct T1 T2 and T3 sections as I am trying to know where I was slow in preparation for the motocross series which I am trying to qualify. Thank you very much!
Red lines are the Splits, greyish ones the checkpoints. Each missed CP is 5 to 10s penalty. (Click to enlarge)
You can actually check this yourself.
1. Download the TrackTools
2. Unpack the .pkz
3. launch TrackEd
4. Load the .trh of the track
5. View -> RaceData -> load the .rdf of the track.

As of Beta 7, this track got even more awesome (those powerslides...). BUT, does anyone also have a wierd rear kick after the sand rollers? Kinda as if there was a hidden step...

Ya it would be nice to see an updated version of this track. Would also be awesome to see Glen Helen updated to the new layout!
I'll try to have a look at my folders and see if I still have the "raw" track before compiling it, and see if I can fix the invisible step. Quite frankly, it's not high on my list atm because I have only little free time and I find the OEM pack more important :/ Sorry about that.
Glen Helen will be a complete overhaul. The heightmap isn't big enough to encompass the newer sections and I'd like to redo it anyway. I will be doing this at some point.. If anyone has comments or anything please use the Glen Helen thread 👍
