Title: MX Bikes VR
Post by: tylermaillet on August 25, 2017, 06:31:31 AM
I didn't think it was ever gonna happen. I thought there was no way that you could make an MX game in VR, but apparently it's possible. Not trying to sound cliche, but it did feel like I was on the bike between the physics and graphics. It didn't make me feel nauseated, though that may just be a thing that I am immune to. Have any of you tried it, and what are your opinions/experiences with it?

Help me I need a life, please I will do anything. My life is a mess, I have lost myself, I don't know who I am anymore. PLEASE.

Ya, Iv'e played this game ONLY in VR since it came out. Haha, most people try it for the first time and get sick. It would be nice of other game like MXS would use the same technology, but Piboso seems to be the only Motocross "simulator" creator that actually cares about having a simulated reality, which in my opinion, VR takes any game from a 'game' to an 'experience'. Glad to see more people joining the fun! (and the jumps seems huuuuuge).  8)

I was looking for seated games because my second sensor broke and I saw this one on Steam as a VR game and I was so excited but I had my doubts and turns out it is awesome. I play MXS (though not recently because I have been super busy) and I just assumed that making that in VR is just really impossible but this does it perfectly. I like the physics of this game though I am getting a lot of glitches (my settings aren't saving, I can't change settings in-game without crashing, everything takes 10 seconds to load) but idk if that is a VR thing or just regular bugs. But ye I am gonna be playing a lot of this I can tell.

I have never played an MX game before, and yesterday I just tried the demo on VR, and it's amazing, those jumps are so amazing.

After 1hr, I removed the HMD, and I experienced motion sickness for the first time, but I think I'll get over it.

What I maybe  don't get over is to control the Bike, I can't be on the bike for more than 15 secs ... I don't know if a have to adjust the controller, or just I'm dull

You're not dull. For MXB you just need a lot of practice until you really get hang on it and actually run multiple laps without crashes :)
