How To Enter

Entry is Free, to Enter a round of the Fast Lap Challenge 2, simply log in to the MX Bikes Forum and post 2 screenshots of your lap time from the game in the correct forum page of that round. The First Screenshot needs to be taken in Pit; Laps tab like so:

The second Screenshot needs to be taken of the exported lap time file. In the screenshot above, you can see the Export button below the Ideal Lap Time. Once exported, you can find the file in your 'my documents' folder; PiBoSo/MX Bikes/exports. Open in the file in your internet browser and take a screenshot of the results.

Both the lap times in the screenshots must line up correctly. Please see the cheating section of this document to see what are the consequences of manipulating a lap time.
You may only post one lap time each round. If any competitor posts multiple lap times, only the first lap time will be taken while the others will be discarded.
Any lap time posted after the round has finished will not count.

Scoring

Once a round has been completed, each competitors lap time will be documented and scored using the Olympic Style of Scoring. For example, the best lap time will score 1 Point, while the 15th best lap time will score 15 points.
If a competitor does not compete in a round, they will be given the score of last place + 2 for that round.
In the case of two or more competitors posting times that are exactly the same, they will be given equal points and the next competitor will be given points equal to the amount of people they are behind the leader. For example:
4th – 1:07:098 – 4 points
5th – 1:07:122 – 5 Points
5th – 1:07:122 – 5 points
7th – 1:07:144 – 7 points

Cheating/Manufacturing a Lap Time

There is absolutely no tolerance to cheating. If you are caught manufacturing a lap time, you will be immediately disqualified from the series and be striped of all points earned in previous rounds. You may also be suspended from possible future competitions.

I still think each round should be set to certain bike size. Rd 1. 125's Rd 2. 250's, Rd 3. 250F's etc. Think it would make it more interesting this way.  :)

FLCS also has to be restricted or grouped in MSM/OEM Groups. OEMs are WAY faster than MSMs.

To use OEM bikes I think they at least need to be updated with a Stock tire compound, considering how much more traction the game has now. But does 'Open" mean both Stock and OEM? Cause I can't connect to that server....

It's weird. Some people can and some can't. But I downloaded the OEM pack from the Google Drive link like some others did as well ... (here (https://drive.google.com/open?id=10W8dnDsSlBrt2AwzkTGGYC52o7Fw0Wn2))

And yes, you need to have the OEM pack installed to ride on the server, cause it's using OEM and MSM bikes. That's why it has [OEM Installed] in the name :)

Nice of you to run that again.

On the OEMs, three last pack technically works BUT grip value and suspensions will not behave as they should as they were tuned for beta 7. Beta 8 changed a lot of things, which requires an update of the OEM pack (incoming at the end of the month).

Since I could not connect online with OEM bikes, I tried to delete them and re download, but they are not on Sync anymore so now I don't have any OEM bikes at all.

Yeah, if it would be easier to restart the series in a couple weeks, I'd be happy to. What do other people think?

for now since the series has started perhaps just implementing some classes. mx1, mx2, oemx1, and oemx2, and 125's. i for one would love to compete in more than one class.

I've mentioned this after the first series finished, also a couple days ago. I think it would make it more interesting instead of everyone on a 450 the whole series.

It looks like at the moment we might run certain bikes at certain rounds, for example, round 1 here at TNMX will probably be a MX1 event. Only MX1 Bikes (non-OEM) would be accepted, and then next round may be MX2 or OEM2 or 125s or whatever. how would people feel about this? Or would people prefer the classes suggested above this? Or we could just hold it off for a few weeks until the new OEM's a updated, which might make it all a bit easier

Ya I am fine with either Open class or changing it each week, I just think that until OEM bikes are updated to Beta 8, we should not have them part of the series, so run only Stock bikes for the first round or two. I just wish the netcode way playable enough to where we could hold a normal race series...  :'(

Or we could just leave it keep OEM for this first round since it's already in progress.

Now b8 seems to have a growing player base and better online stability, how about hosting an online event instead of a time attack?

You could even turn collisions off if you want it to be similar in time attack style.

This would be nice, or at least have the series be best 5 laps in a row like we used to have, so it would be more of a "racing' setup instead of just 1 fast lap.

round 1 should definitely stay a open class since it is late notice, and seeing as someone already posted a time have it be truly open (not msm only) i think that's the  fair thing to do at this point.

Starting Rd. 2, any thoughts on having lap time PM'd to Umpossible vs. posting on the forum? Cause then you would not know what lap times you had to beat, and it would make it more of a surprise.

Sounds challenging. But I also Like the opportunity to know which time to beat tbh. I mean it's also challenging trying to beat the Last Time posted and even you didn't Beat the best time you're still able to get a place on the podium. Had rounds on TMNX I would have posted but Leon gave me a time to focus beating

So is it agreed that once that beta 8 OEMS come out were restarting the series? Tbh I don't think we should since theres people that put a lot of time in their hotlap (myself included) and wouldn't like to do it again lol. When beat 8 OEMS do come out, just be clear on the posting and I think the series will run smooth.
