Had the same going to garage, had to delete the setup to fix. And we get this now http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=5867.0 Although I didn't go to track to see where it puts you when it happened last night (i'm used to the bug in GPBikes so just reconnect) many still connected did not show in the player list.

Had the garage thing several times now, It happens with a new setup, you make changes then save it and when you next go to garage the game crashes to desktop with no error.

Also had the "name not in the player list" after a session restart again yesterday. When I went to go to track it puts in some funky spot IDK where, but when I held the rest button for 3 secs, to reset on track, it put me out of bounds and I fell to oblivion! If anyone gets this you need to re-join to fix it. This exact same bug is in GPbikes.

I'd like to ask how the "online fix" is tested? Is there alpha testers stress testing servers and/or features or just Snappe and PiBoSo checking things before release?

I think they intend to get testers eventually but they are the only testers currently. Kinda a good thing and a bad thing imo.

Online bugs? ??? Besides all the rubberbanding and unpredictable movements of other riders? Sometimes I notice my screen lags for a second online, especially when there is more than a couple players.

Could getting rid of the dirt formation on the bikes and animations help a little? I mean, that certainly used bandwidth.

Who are you playing online with, Australians maybe? My online experience is very different from yours in B8.

Has any one tried watching a reply with lots on? I've not actually got around to turning up my replay file size yet but hopefully it's better than this now - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3VoIlMLSkE

Also suffering from the Garage giving a crash to desktop with no error message and then preventing a reconnection. Kinda pissing me off and prevents using any custom setup online...

Are you using previous bike setups? My game was crashing when I would load previous bike setups so I had to create new ones.

A band aid style fix is :

Go to the offline version of the track and get setup, then attempt to go online and just load the setup as opposed to create one. annoying AF i know but thats how i have dealt with it.

I have a problem with connection to OEM servers. it almost never connect. guess, everytime i connected the server was 'fresh', newly created not so long ago. in other cases - no connection. tried reinstalling mx bikes, removing everything which is not required for server (mods, tracks, all files from profile folder) - nothing.

I think I may have figured out a work around for the garage bug online. All day I was having issues with it always crashing after I joined and hit garage. I always forgot to delete the setup was one of the reason's, but after riding, then going back to garage it would crash. So one time when I was adjusting my setup, instead of hitting "done" and being asked to save. I tried "Save As" instead, then rode, then back to garage successfully without crashing to desktop. So I exited the game, went to my setups and deleted ALL except the one I just made. Started game, pick different OEM bike, got on server did same thing I mentioned, got same results. ;D  Came back couple hours later and so far the issue has stopped. I don't have to delete my setup before joining. Only tested it out on 2 servers on mx2 oem.

Clutch luck and I were online and I hit a fence and crashed the game just now on the Forest/Pracice vanilla server.

It was new to me as all of my other crashes/freezes came from collisions that seemed to penetrate the ground plane.

Online players do not appear, people can not be seen.

we found a temporary fix for couple people:
Go to Settings, Misc tab and set the Bandwidth to "high" or "very high". Then restart the game! Should do the trick.

Don't know if this is just online or entire game, but whenever I launch the game I have to reset the bike push forward and back every time.

doc1 has the same with his leaning buttons each time he starts the game.

Yup I have this same issue as well. And sometimes if I load into a track it won't allow me to change the buttons back at all.

Exotiks do you have an Nvidia graphics card by chance. It may sound stupid but I think its related to shadowplay or the overlay. I downloaded a graphics update but didn't install it yet so my shadowplay overlay was disabled. I opened Mx bikes and went straight to the button mappings to check and see if I had the bug and everything looked normal.

Then I installed the update so shadowplay and the overlay was automatically enabled so I went to check again and this is what the button mappings looked like. This could be a coincidence maybe. I only checked once when shadowplay wasn't working, but there isn't a way to disable shadowplay(or at least I can't find a solid way) so I can't verify.

Lol well it must have just been a crazy coincidence cause after trying again multiple times with shadowplay still on everything looks normal except the push bike button layout.

I've a Nvidia graphics card with the overlay enabled. No problems here.

Hi and Merry Christmas!

I have a prob with NVIDIA Shadowplay (Overlay) to record this game. Nvidia Experience Overlay is activated in Nvidia Geforce Experience. I have installed the latest driver version.

But I can't record a game because NVIDIA shows up with: "A supported game is required for this function" if I press the usual ALT+F9 (start and stop recording).

I have of course NVIDIA Graphic card: GTX 1070. I'm able to record other games. But the record function doesn't work for MX-BIKES games yet.

Is Nvidia's ShadowPlay already supported by MX-BIKES ?
