Title: Modifying Bike Sounds
Post by: LastFriday on November 12, 2018, 08:57:46 PM
So I have been trying to make an entire 4 stroke sound pack but it seems the only thing I can really change is the limiter? And when I try to open any of the other files, (250cc_idle, 250cc_onhigh) it says it cant read it.

Anyone know why this is? It would be a big help. :)

Sound files are locked. You would need to create new ones. Just make sure they are named the exact same. Then you can mix with this http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=1048.0 (http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=1048.0)  Don't know anymore about this sorry.

I've been doing this, but when I put the sound in the folder the idle sound is like a higher pitched or is running at a faster rate?? I've been trying to lower the pitch to match the rpm but then you cant even hear the strokes coming from the idle because its so low.

I put the file up so you can see what im talking about. http://www.mediafire.com/file/kxhcgnfwc2kpyms/250cc_idle.wav/file (http://www.mediafire.com/file/kxhcgnfwc2kpyms/250cc_idle.wav/file)

And the tool seems to be out of date. When I load an engine file, it wont read it saying it cant find the correct .cfg file for the bike.

You can hear them by disabling each one you don't want to hear, going in game and pressing throttle at just right position, then go back and choose another. Lol

But gives a good idea how it was all put together.
