Title: New 125 2-stroke sound
Post by: |BEYER| on October 16, 2019, 11:33:57 PM
I've made a new 2-stroke 125 sound for the MX2 OEM bikes.
The WAV files i've changed is idle, onidle, onverylow, onlow, onmid and onhigh. I removed the transmission sound. And changed the pitch and volume. Also as this is quite challenging it is still a WIP (v1.1).
Enjoy!

There was a spelling mistake in v1.1 so the idle.wav wasn't working.
So here's v1.2

I ll give it a shot when I come home tonight. Thanks for tackling the sound issue!

Getting a decent 250 sound from it is probably straight forward too with minimal sound processing...

Besides your 4 stroke mod this one sounds pretty good too! Only thing I personally don't like is the rev limiter. Really crunchy in the ears. Nonetheless, well done!

Thanks for the feedback, i don't really like the limiter either, i just can't find anything to use yet. Feel free to edit any of it, any help is welcome.

Why is there a limiter on 2 strokes sound? They don't use a limiter... And the SFX file doesn't call for one normally.

It's not an actual limiter, I used onhigh as the sound they make when the engine is revving very high
