A question which has plagued mankind since the beginning.

you would think piboso and crew are well aware of these connectivity issues ruining the experience of this awesome game for so many... maybe they would be working on a fix? or narrowing down any tips for frustrated players so they can actually join a server and ride with people.

the only way for me to play online is if i create my own server and hopefully someone joins... otherwise, ive been syncing for literally months now.

Yes, the devs are aware of the problem and are trying to fix it.

I am experiencing the same problem.  I have played this game for a year or two with no issues connecting to servers, suddenly, stuck on syncing for days.

I've had this a few times and each time it's been caused by games files being messed up or out of date in my folders. That probably doesn't cover all the possibilities but most of them. Trouble with the game is it doesn't tell you what's wrong lots of the time so you're kind of blind to the problem (I had a bike sync error that turned out to be a rider folder problem, so even if it does show an error you can't trust it 100%), but in the majority of cases if you get your game files right MXBikes works fine.

All you can do is strip the mod files out and go back to stock and see if it works, when it does then start re-introducing your mod files bit by bit until it breaks again, then replace those files.

In the future hopefully we get a error system verbose enough to give the exact problem rather then endless syncing.
