Title: Getting to know the community
Post by: onlyonetone on March 20, 2014, 01:07:40 AM
I don't like to post new threads especially in a fresh forum. But with that being said I'd like to get to know the community here.

A chance to tell the community about yourself, what you do in real life, what games you play, any skills you may have that could benefit this game, etc etc etc.

Name is Tony. I'm 24 from Louisville, ky. I don't ride as much as I'd like to but I do skate a lot. Also play basketball a lot.

I play a a bunch of other Sims including GP, MXS, LFS, rFactor, some flight Sims. Still play the old mva titles as well. Also play NBA 2k14.

I have some modeling and skinning experience and quite a bit of coding experience.

sorry if you don't like this topic. Just thought it'd be a good idea.

Now, share away!

My name is Kasey, I'm 17 years old. I really prefer strategic, slow paced games such as the Total War series and games like Banished.
I race harescrambles in real life every weekend. I currently race A class and am leading the points thus far.
Tried teaching my self how to skin and everything turned out bad so I gave up. Yup..

Me and onlyonetone are lost long twin brothers I'm thinking.

Names Chris, 24 from Tx, and been riding since I was three. Don't get to ride as often anymore either but I just bought myself a 2013 yz 125 last year that I'm in love with. I also skateboard and did skate very actively for 10 years but I also don't get to skate as much now. My fun-burglar's name is school. I've started my undergrad in chemistry simply because I'm good at it, and want to be a chemist.

When I'm not being sucked into school and can't ride or skate I'm playing video games almost definitely. I play mostly simulators, primarily MXS. I also play Arma 2 & 3, DCS flight sims, Project Cars and etc.

Only other thing you need to know about me is I watch and study motocross religiously. I'm that guy who gets irate and blacks out from rage if someone argues motocross is easy.

I'm Tanner, and I live in Ontario, Canada, and I am 15 y/o in a couple of weeks. Maybe MXB will come out on my birthday :D

I have some photoshop skills, and i like to game on the pc, mostly simulators. Im not a team player, I like sports that are solo and games that are solo. That way, if I succeed or fail, its all me. I like having that responsibility.

IRL I like to snowmobile, and I motocross, although I don't get out as much as I would like. I enjoy snowboarding, mountain biking, any solo sports. I love music, always have. Im never seen without an earbud hanging out of my ear. I also (try to) produce music myself. I love all music, but I mostly listen to anything EDM. Dubstep, Electro, Electro-house, house, progressive house, trap, glitch-hop, chillstep, ambient, etc..

My name is Chris, i'm 17 and I'm from Dayton, Ohio. I play PC Primarily, but my PC sucks so i'm going to get a gaming PC in the future. I play a lot of different types of games, but motocross is by far my favorite. I play MXS, Arma 2, Flight Simulator X, South Park the Stick Of Truth, Plague Inc., and Fallout. I'm secretly in love with the Fallout franchise. I've Played all of the Fallout games, even the ones from the 90's. I race motocross in real life, I've been riding since i was six years old. I just recently moved up to 125's because i'm short and only just started growing. I'm 5'5" ish, so i look a little bit small on a big bike but i'm way too big for little bikes. I have a 2012 YZ125, and i'm planning on trying for lorettas in the years to come. Our local race series here in Ohio starts net weekend and i'm hoping for a podium in the series when it's all through. I'm a really joking guy, and I learn new things really fast. I like a lot of music, really the only music i don't enjoy is lovey dovey country music. Yuck. That's pretty much all you need to know. Oh and i try and throw the sickest whips on any motocross game there is  8)

Im Connor im 15 and from far western kentucky and i think chris is my arch enemy. I listen to Country mostly. I listen to some dubstep & pop when im training but other than that its Country. I mostly listen to the king, George Strait but i really like Alan Jackson and other old country singers like that. Im a
Country boy and yea most of yall will call me a redneck but i really dont care. I even type in my accent but ive been really trying to contain my accent on the forums so i seem smarter.

I ride a Yz250f im 5'9

Im not really interested in anything other than motocross. Its been my life since i was 3 and had been racing since i was 6. I raced for 5 years until my dad made me
Quit because it was "too dangerous" however now that i saved up all the momey to pay for my own bike and am starting to show him i will do it without him if he wont support me i think im starting to slowly get to him to let me soon again and regain his support.

So if i get to race again hopefully you all will be hearing about me on the podium at lorrettas  ;D

Seems like we got some pretty diverse members in here. This is what I like to see.

It'd be awesome if we all got to know each other and kept things chill and helpful on here. No cyber bullying, No arguing. Just keeps things simple and help each other out. Try not to go off on each other. To the older dudes, just try to understand there's always going to be younger members. Always. Just be patient with them. As for the younger ones, watch your text tone. Which is a weird thing anyways. Re read your posts before posting them and make sure nothing seems rude. I guess that ones goes for the older guys as well.

Just try to get along and I think we will have a great community here.

Yes, I'm Sandhapper from the forums, I guess it's time for me to explain who I actually am now.
Ah that sucks, it isn't a big problem it's .net now , even though not many people know it I guess. 22Ryan (member of this forum) is also working on a good looking 'mod download page', you can find it in the off topic section, Got some time off.

My name is Ruben Kuilder, also known as Sandbiter, Sandhapper and RSKDIGIART. I'm 16 years old and have been hosting a lot of races in Mx Simulator. With the help of Frederik we started the main European series, when Frederik stopped hosting me and Yohann went futher. I stopped around the 12th race from the SX series because the Mx Simulator community pissed me off too much. When I had to study I actually hosted races for them and probably missed some points on my tests. Everyone blames about how we didn't follow up our rules too well, but when I kicked a pro who didn't respect the rules every of his friends blamed me for the kick. That's why I stopped hosting and didn't want to put my time into it anymore. I'll try to host events for MX-Bikes, but if I don't like it, or if the community pisses me off again I'll stop immediately.

I've been modeling/texturing/designing a lot of things too, I lost some stuff because of computer crashes. I'm currently working on a project for a friend of mine, and I want to finish up my CRF250 06-09 and put it in Mx Simulator and Mx-Bikes. You can find my stuff on: https://www.facebook.com/rkdigitalart
I haven't posted any updates recently because I've been busy with school and driving lessons. I'm also working on that project for my friend and I don't want anyone to know it who shouldn't know it.

Brad, Australia. Run the www.tmfactory-racing.com website & TMFR team for MXS which also acts as a bit of a resource site for choice links to skins, tracks and templates etc.. we get over 15,000 hits per month supporting mxs.

Some might remember me as AUS_Kangaroo, Captain of Team AUS in MCM1-2 days. I support the TM Racing brand 100% and skin the Stock & replica GP bikes/gear for them. I'm not a fan of the sim physics in mxs and don't ride it. It could have been so much better i think (i just ride offline in arcade/time trial mode to at least enjoy some tracks). Instead i play a supportive role to the TMFR site and manage the team which does compete mostly on an amateur & pro privateer level plus sponsor some events, prizes and also enjoy skinning replica's.

I'm interested to support MXB in a similar way if there's room and hope it will exceed most of "my expectations" for an mx game. I also want to get the TM model (created by Jre for TMFR) into MXB which Snappe has acknowledged. I just need to find someone external with proficient skills in 3DS Max for that to happen.

Hope to meet some cool peeps in this community.

Hey Guys just wanted to stop by to let people know about me.

Im Kevin, 18, from Wyoming, in the United States of Murica'
Fast Food employee by trade  ;)
Working there to save money for college, which i attend in the fall.
Unusual username, you might ask. Well this name came about because i was playing 360, and my profile got banned for life :P
So when i created my gamertag, i decided that i would make funny gamertag, that didn't break the rules but was funny, so for whatever reason this popped in my head. So i use it for most things now because it is not easily forgotten.
Play MX sim, though i found it to be fun, i always thought the physics to be off. The game feels unfinished and broken to me.

Ricco, from Paris in France.

Student in computer science for few years now, and modder for GP-Bikes/WRS/KRP (& MX-Bikes very soon :P) in my free time, for both bikes and tracks.

I'm more interested by "GP" Bikes (MotoGP, SBK, EWC), even if I'm following MXGP Championship.

Riding a Bultaco Sherpa 125 since I'm 10 (Butaco is a legion in my family  ;D ), and I've been riding some more recent trial bikes such as Beta 250 or GasGas TXT Pro. I also rode one of the last Bultaco made before the brand shut down, the great 198B.

Expect to see at least one of them very soon ;)

I like pretty much every sport but if it has wheels and a motor, it's the best!
I design real life mx graphics on the side as well as play mxs (and mxb when it's out) pretty often.
I talk a lot of shit when im tired / drunk so sorry if i offend anyone when it happens. It will.

Have I introduced myself? Oh well doing it again won't hurt any of you guys haha

My name is Broc, from Green Bay, WI, USA. 29yo.  Been riding and racing since 4.  Broke my ankle and had it plated about a month ago so this is perfect timing for the beta to be released!  ;D I have a 2013 KX450F.  Race Open A and +25A.  I am a field service technician for Crown Lift Trucks.  Other games I play are MX Sim, Reflex PC, MXGP (Not really, because everyone cuts online), VRC Pro, iRacing, MTB Freeride, and just downloaded GP Bikes as well as Kart Racing Pro demos today which are both awesome.  Pumped for this game!!! Looks promising.

Good day gentlemen, lets get raging.

My name is Robert Nash and I approve this message.

I was pretty good at MX Simulator back in the day (a year ago) but soon quit due to me sucking at it. I moved to other simulations such as iRacing and have stayed there since.

In the real world I do have a life. I race almost every weekend in C CLASS YEAH but probably move to B once I get kicked out of C by the AMA or the DAD. I almost got into Karting and found these games from KRP, but never bought GP-Bikes since I sucked at the demo.

I'm Jere from Finland, 22yo.
MXS people knows me as a creator. Been doing mostly bike models there such as the GasGas and Tm. Currently working on a CR250 model and my local track project, so the game still keeps me interested in, sometimes less but still there. Maybe because there isn't any better, so let's see what the MXB is going to be. If it will be interesting enough to put effort on it I may think about creating some stuff for this community as well. Looks promising so far.  :)

In MXS sometimes I'm fast as hell, sometimes the slowest rider ever crashing in every corner. It depends on the mood.  :D Started getting my old level back lately which means I'm pretty fast on small bikes. I remember how I took the 1st place on a 125 in supercross race last year.  8)

IRL stuff: Started studying 3D animation and -visualisation in UNI, so I have a life and it's a very good one. Riding mx for hobby, bought a -07 CR250 year ago after having a -07 KTM300exc for two years so I have some kind of enduro/mx riding background and currently trying to get faster and faster. Would be nice to start racing in the near future.

Sup yall? I'm Choppy from Portland, Oregon and I'll be 50 in January. I'm a machinist and enjoy long walks on the beach, cuddling up together with my woman to watch the Lifetime channel and I'm trying to learn underwater BB stacking. I've been collecting sims since the '80's and this is the latest.

We get a lot of that, lol. Same with Short Circuit and Kindergarten Cop "It's NOT a toomah!!!". Actually, Arnold saw a convoy on the freeway and wanted a Hummer(tee hee). He is the first civilian to own one and that led to the current state of Hummerism. P.S. It's me Havoc!

Well, I'm around the forums for a couple of months now and met a lot of people online at the tracks but I thought it is time to introduce myself a little bit.

My name is Dominik, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Germany.
Playing MX Bikes since b7.

In real I'm riding a Honda CRF450X '08 on Supermotos, before rebuild it was a pure Enduro machine and I also rode it on tracks.

I work on my Honda all by myself and also made my decals by myself.
I love getting creative in video cutting, working with photoshop (since 7 years I believe) or trying things in 3D Programs and stuff.

I hope we're having a hella lot fun since the new update!
