Title: Button Layout?
Post by: Joe on March 01, 2016, 11:35:35 AM
Hey guys with Beta 4 breathing some new life into MXB for me I am coming to the same problem as I did last time. I have no idea where to map all my controls to, nothing that feels right anyways.

I am wondering what you guys use for a button layout?

Do you not find using bumpers for clutch and brake make it difficult? Making it so your clutch and brake are either off or 100% on.

Not really, I use rb for rear specifically to lock up. And I don't care to control only some clutch, I'll hold it in rev it up and dump it. These are my settings and suit me fine. ;) probably why I suck balls hahaha

Also you can add some smoothing to the button presses in the control options.

Personally I use:

Right Stick up = throttle
Right Stick down = rear brake
Right Trigger = front brake
Left Trigger = sit (hold)
Left Stick click = clutch

I've got

RT - front brake
LT - rear brake
right stick up - throttle
left stick - steer left/right lean forward/back
