Actually these tracks are 'overscaled' as well. But it's been done with the reason to make the track easier for a bigger part of the community and it was done to have better racing. The scaling of these tracks does work really well in the Aerial SX races though, so that's good!

Yeah Ruubs your version of Houston vs the Aerial version of Houston really points out the scaling difference. Yours you can even ride a 125 on which this one you can barely get a 250 around.

Wish they were not scaled so large. Impossible to ride on a 250 without being perfect.

Quote from: CBM Racing on January 20, 2021, 09:47:39 PMLoved the track the other Houston track that's out there is good but yours was great! I really hope you decide to make more of them even if it's just in your spare time. Everything was spot on the only thing I didn't like was the whoops I could hit them the exact same way 5 times and only make it through 3 times but I am sure that's on me. Plus your track is a lot more friendly to the 250 riders the other track the jumps were a little overscaled IMO. Oh did I mention that it also looked incredible!
Cheers

Agreed on everything. Same issue on the whoops. I finally figured out 3rd gear pinned works most of the time, but if you don't get the drive you're going down. Great otherwise, and can ride on a 125 makes it even better!

The whoops on Houston are really strange. They feel like a dragons back more than they do whoops.

Quote from: BlizzardDUCK on November 08, 2020, 09:20:49 PMI'm not getting that plugin to show up. I see the redistributable package x64 below, but that install doesn't work for me. Says Setup Failed, another version of this product is already installed and it cannot continue to install the file. What do I need to do?

Try this one: https://aka.ms/vs/16/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
It's the x64 for 2015, 2017 and 2019 from that page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

If still won't install, uninstall what you have (2015, 2017, 2019) and install the new one.

Thanks so much, that fixed it and I got it working.

Plugins / Re: MaxHUD plugin
November 08, 2020, 09:20:49 PM
I'm stuck on the install.

QuoteCopy the MaxHUD_data folder and the relevant .dlo file (e.g. MaxHUD_GPB64.dlo for GPB) to
the game's plugins folder, which is (depending on the game):
● C:\Program Files\GP Bikes\gpbikes\plugins
● C:\Program Files\World Racing Series\wrs\plugins
● C:\Program Files\Kart Racing Pro\plugins
● C:\Program Files\MX Bikes\plugins

The plugin creates a MaxHUD.ini file in the data directory corresponding to the game:
● C:\Users\<Your Windows Username>\Documents\PiBoSo\GP Bikes\
● C:\Users\<Your Windows Username>\Documents\PiBoSo\World Racing Series\
● C:\Users\<Your Windows Username>\Documents\PiBoSo\Kart Racing Pro\
● C:\Users\<Your Windows Username>\Documents\PiBoSo\MX Bikes\
or simply in the game directory if you're using "compatibility mode".

I'm not getting that plugin to show up. I see the redistributable package x64 below, but that install doesn't work for me. Says Setup Failed, another version of this product is already installed and it cannot continue to install the file. What do I need to do?

General Discussion / Reset best lap times?
December 24, 2019, 03:42:31 AM
I found that I had lean help on when I set multiple fast lap times. Now I'd like to reset them because they are too good for my current skill level. How do I go back and erase the best lap times to get a new trainer/ghost?

Quote from: onthelow on December 15, 2019, 10:01:25 PMIm having trouble getting it to work I downloaded it but there isnt any file labeled "plugins" I went into the game and pressed caps lock to try and get the menu to pop up as the pdf said there must be something obvious im missing if anyone can help

Go to your program files, not your document files.

That being said, I can't get it to give me a .ini file. I have the Microsoft Visual C++ 2017 Redistributable Package files but its still not working.

Should be added, when I play MXS thats all I do is TT with the ghost. I don't have the patience for others wrecking me, I wreck enough on my own.

First, congratulations to Piboso, Snappe and i think there's a third guy?

The "third guy" is Greg Hill, sound designer.

The same Greg Hill that works on sound for iRacing??!! :o
No wonder its outstanding.

I too have taken step away to let it develop, last time I was into it was a few weeks after my last paint. Just downloaded it again on my built PC which can run it maxed and the graphics look great. What really bothers me is
1. low speed you can't really steer, it just goes where it wants.
2. You can't turn too sharp because you just dump it over, even if you have momentum that should hold you up against a berm, and can't put foot down.
3. When steering is centered, it has a free steer thing that goes on like controller is in a dead zone and its not recognizing that you want it straight so the steering sways side to side.
4. Rider has little influence on where the bike is going, leaning left or right doesn't do much in air.
5. When the bike lands, the suspension shoots you in unpredictable directions at times. Its like you land and all of a sudden your forward momentum is now transformed and you are sprung sideways.

I want to like this more, I feel it has more potential than MX Simulator. Just a few things that keep me picking up MXS instead.
