The Ridge v0.5 (unfinished but good trails/jumps)

I made this one a long time ago - plenty of trails if you do not get lost and jumps (freeride/trailride)..  but sorry it has no trees or objects because I lost the files midstream..  still rides really well once you know where to go (all trailes loop around and back to the center. When you spawn, go straight ahead and you will see a trail go up the hill.

This guy just updated his MTB Game - once I got the hang of it and started clearing the dirt jump and slope style courses, I realized it is of simulator quality like MXBikes.

Hey all!

Been a while - man, the physics are getting so much better!

We use to have a 1-stop shop kind of deal going to make it easy for everyone to have the same tracks/bikes.
I know we have an OEM pack but is there a trackpack available that is the "go to" for online servers?

Also. Getting sounds is easy.. the issue is that its directly connected to the engine/tyres physics. This is great for a true simulated sound but very hard to find the sound to fit the engine.

If the game was simply triggering audio files it would be a breeze to mod but less authentic. Whoever truly makes this game sound right with the way it actually works is a true hero and a badass lol

Not both..

Link two just happens to have my test for "panic rev" sound when in the air and giving it full throttle. Just a test idea that I'll keep building on

No worries.. once you try and use MaxSCL you will realise why the end result isn't "Badsyar, this is epic!".. bc it's not easy haha

Alien sounds are likely the min/max adjustments  on refpitch/minpitch/maxpitch..
In other words its causing the pitch to go too high or low compared to the original audio

I may do a part two soon to go a little more in detail

Hmm.. I think I actually just figured out a way to get a new sound added for in air full-throttle that will sound better!
(may even make be able to make it sounds better when throttled up for gate starts)

Hopefully i can get it pushed out for the weekend.   8)

EDIT: If anyone is interested I uploaded a quick version with the Panic Rev addition - sound is placeholder but its a neat workaround.

I basically added a rev limiter to trigger a file.

Made a simple tutorial..

I'm no tutorial guy and I don't really know much about sound editing..

but this video will at least show you how to get MaxSCL working for you.

Yeah, this is because I am not actually creating audio clips that the game was designed for.
Luckily on the 4-stroke you can add a rev limiter sound clip which kind of hides this issue.

Not sure I'll ever fix that part unless I find a neat work around.

In the long run I just hope this makes someone skilled who really wants to dig into the small details of matching audio with the engine rpm.

I'll keep messing with it until then.
