The original idea, according to what I interpret, is that each new character can use or not the existing skins, it depends on the model and what the modeler wants or looks for. I particularly in this case, map the model so that it can use the skins already made by the users.
But it doesn't necessarily have to have the same mapping.
In the future I would like to make more characters, for example with jeans and a shirt or t-shirt, etc. but for that you should use a new uvw, for example for the neck and sleeves, and so on. I hope I was clear.

Look, i try a lot of combinations and this is the one who works for me.
I talk with Piboso and he says it will be fixed in Beta 18c.

This is ready, but I still have the same problem, it only works completely if it is installed in the Main/Steam folder and not in the MODS folder and also you have to copy the paints three times, one for the default rider, and two for the custom riders, male and female.

What I do?

Yes it's posible, you need to do your animation in 3D Max the export as .ANM with the respective plugin and the respective script.
First you will need some information, define wich .ANM files do wich animation, i can recall RN the ANM number who has the tricks. Define the range of the animation in frames. All of this go inside the file.
Soon i will post my rider and all the information i recolect.

What I learned, and what happens is: you have to model the rider around the old rider or around the skeleton.
The original rider, both mesh and skeleton are available for download on this forum.
Why? you can make a rider 7 feet tall or 2 feet tall, but what happens, and this is the question, the animations that come by default already have coordinates of the "old" bones so if your rider is 7 feet tall, at the time to "land" the bones will return to the coordinates of the original rider, UNLESS, you import your own animations. What about the animations? We do not have official information of the .ANM files. I had one that I collected myself, what animation number does such a thing, for example animation1 is the rider standing still, 2 is lean left, etc. What is missing is the frame ranges and how many animations each ANM file has, because in some cases you have more than one animation.

Good point!! I can edit the model, we can have zillion of riders characters now, maybe one more skinny and one regular in the boots part; but still i will like to have one that work with the "regular" mods so maybe i go in that way and take your advice.

Yes, i tried a couple of things but apparently this is the only way at the moment. In my case, copy the gloves and paint folder twice, in default rider and in my rider.

Everything this in the main folder to fully work, not mods folder.

Huge thanks to Piboso for this feature, the rider is now at rigging 90%, uvw map 90%.

Still i need to figure how to use the default paints without have to copy them twice. I figure that and i gonna release it.
