You'll have to convince PiBoSo to get that to happen. 7aroca gil PM'ed me with just "pleease". He's been going crazy with the posts, not me. :P

No one cares about you're PMs.

General Discussion / Re: Oppo Whip
May 30, 2019, 05:59:07 PM
its all about timing to make it look cool. to get started just before you leave the lip of a jump, turn left with the left stick while leaning back with the right stick and as soon as the back tire leaves the jump you want to swing the right stick to the right counter clockwise. That should get you side ways, to get back to a landing position do the opposite (left stick to the right and right stick swing from right to down to left clockwise)

now to make the oppo happen the type of jump is every thing. you want to find one that will compress your suspension hard and kinda shoot you up vertically favoring height instead of distance. sitting on the take off then standing when its time to come back from the whip will help keep the front end up. When coming up to the jump you want to have the bike leaned to the right and instead scrubbing, swing the sticks how I mentioned before. Like i said before timing is every thing so you will have to make little changes to every thing I said before but you should be able to get a the feeling for what works on that jump and what does not.

Hope to see some whip gifs from you

Quote from: PizzaChet on May 13, 2019, 02:49:38 AMThese first two reasons sound like your psychological response to these features once you discovered them instead of a physics simulation issue. The shifting gripe is kinda petty since it's not really a problem. Each title has something the other doesn't. That's my point.

Every time I state these 3 facts about MXS I never get a well thought out response that could change my mind. I welcome a different point of view and would take it seriously but it seems like the only response I ever get is akin to some one sticking their fingers in their ears and saying any thing to brush off these criticisms with out discussing them. Just a waste of time to continue this conversation

No.

There are many reasons why MXS should not be called a simulator.3 examples off the top of my head are,
1)The front tire does nothing to the track, The dev could not figure out how to have both tires erode and carve a path on the track while keeping the game playable so he just disabled the front tire from doing any thing to the track.
2)The track does not change until the bike has left the area so you never get the feeling of riding on dirt, its more like riding on dirt colored rocks.
3)You have to shift up to 5th in mid air on every jump because it levels out the bike. Just feels fake.

I'm surprised it wasn't MXS tbh.
Look at that and let it soak in...that has to be a joke!?! As much as we'd all love a marriage of MXS physics and online with MXB's everything else especially graphics, we can't. It's common among many other genres, one has this and the other has that. We need more time and patience. It's already a niche sport in a super niche game with a two person dev team. MXS has one. A watched pot never boils. If you got nuthin' better to do, then knock yourself out. I just got done with some beautiful DiRT Rally 2.0 and highly recommend it!

I think you missed the point of this thread and went on a bit of a tangent pizzachet.

1 year no, I've been 3 years,
but he had other accounts, More months to spend playing the demo to buy it.

Are you here to argue or fix the problem. even though you use the wrong category for your posts (Videos should be in media and game problems should be posted in support) multiple people have given you good advice. What have you done to fix your problem so far?

Last month on the 8th I emailed Pib because I had an issue getting online, He replied on the 9th with a fix. turns out I changed my in game nickname to something crazy and could not remember it. He took the time to find the old nickname so I could change it. Have been able to connect with out any problems.

Here is the reply I got hope it helps you

"The license key is registered with nickname "***********".
Please make sure it is correctly set in MX Bikes -> Profiles -> Nickname"

"Teeds" also replied to your other post with similar info.

Id rather have the rider only do what I input into the controller

There has to be some sort of rider steer automation because it's impossible to balance a bike using a controller. But I hear what you're saying, the steering problems are known and we're working on it.

Thank you =)

Support / Disable rider counter turning

Is there a way to disable the rider from turning the handle bars by him self?

Id rather have the rider only do what I input into the controller, Say im making a fast right turn- the rider turns the bars to the left by him self making me eat shit. Also I have been in many situations where the rider has no clue and just keeps turning the bars left and right very fast. I have to stop the bike completely so the rider chills out and can ride forward.

Id like to be in control of when I counter turn. please help
