I am THOROUGHLY enjoying beta 8!  Didn't start playing til beta 7, and even with all of the simulation helpers unchecked, I am noticing a huge improvement in physics (I do not use mods).

What I noticed mostly:

-  Brake and throttle control while steering feels much, much better, although I do feel more of a restriction in lean angle as some others have mentioned, I'm wondering if that was the sacrifice for more control?

- Less front-end "flutter" and no extreme suspension responses under heavy dynamic terrain changes and ruts.  And, the terrain changes seem even more aggressive and realistic, well done!

- Lots of settings to cater to the simulation or arcade style player.  And I notice some people are addressing a problem with the front-end dipping when leaving the face of a jump, but I feel that is normal (especially on 4-strokes), and could possibly be added as a flywheel weight setting?

I have only played 8 for a few hours, and looking forward to trying some mods this beta.  I say excellent work, Physics>Netcode!  Thank you Piboso!!!

Maybe I just got used to beta 7, but I miss the wheelspin as well.  Was eventually using it to cut out of corners quicker, now I can't provoke it much at all.
how so? i break my rear wheel loose in almost every corner to pivot the bike around

I found it, new "Traction Help" setting, uncheck that box and you'll see what I was missing :)

Thanks Guys!  Really looking forward to what the developers and mods have to offer in the future.  So far so good!

Hey Tom, it's Choppy. 53. I'm up the coast from you. About 1200 miles. Portland. '94 RM250.

Nice Choppy, I've ridden around Medford and at Coos Bay awhile back, beautiful dunes up there!

I did a pretty good search and did not see anything on the topic specifically, but can we expect any kind of flywheel weight adjustment in regards to compression braking and the effects of chopping the throttle? Or am I over looking an already existing option?

Thanks!
