I have never thought about the length of the glove name being the issue but yes, that is what the issue was.

After you said that i decided to try it and sure enough, i had both.

What's the reasoning behind this? Will it be fixed in the future? Thanks piboso!

I haven't seen anyone else having this issue after searching so i decided to post my bug experience.

I am unable to have a neck brace/protection with custom gloves at the same time. Anytime i change my gloves it takes away my neck brace or if i change my neckbrace it takes off my gloves and goes immediately to default. I am unsure if this is a known issue but nonetheless it is an issue for me. If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated.

Support / Edited Misc File Messes up Mx Bikes

I had read here on the forums that someone said to change bike fonts to change the .pkz to .zip so you can access the files and edit the targa for the Font. Well i never even edited anything all i did was make the .pkz to a .rar file and now everything is messed up. Pitboard no longer shows up, Background on the main menu is black, no names when im online, no numbers on my bike or anything

- I understand the full-simulation approach, but given the limited amount of fingers and pad options, a no-lock option on the back break would be nice. It's very on/off right now and makes the back end way too lose.

Unsure if i can answer your question in the full but there is a feature in the advanced options placement ( Right hand Side in the settings ) where you can adjust the speed/Percentage on said input. For example: My clutch is on a button, rather than my rider just going from 100% clutch to 0% i have adjusted it to go from 100% to 0% but with an easing affect. Probably slowing it down to roughly .300-500 of a second or so. Doing so prevents me from dumping the clutch. Same goes for my braking. Brakes lock up due to using too much of it all at once and doing it too fast. You can prevent this by adjusting in the settings: How much brake is applied, how fast the brake is applied, How fast it is released, etc. This is especially useful for people such as myself who have their brakes on a button rather than an Axis.

- the view is too oriented on the handlebars (it would be nice to have the option of setting it)

Which one of the 2 onboard views are you using?
It is possible to set the pitch for both in MX Bikes -> Settings -> Simulation -> Cockpit View

After this update, the view for me is messed up aswell. i can see the riders arms when he leans forward. i dont understand how to fix this issue.

EDIT: I just discovered i too have the crashing problem once online.

Ditto. Been crazy busy. Around the time Beta 3 is released it should be getting better and will be able to make more time for MX Bikes And MotoTone.

This game is great, The only thing that id hope to see in Beta 3 that hasn't already been addressed would be further In air Physics tweaking. I completely understand its just been added in and needs to be fine tuned. I just wish to help inform what needs to be tuned. Mostly for me the way the rider leans compared to the bike movement is very awkward. It almost feels like the rider jerks the bike too fast. Although i wonder how this new Part Weight Addition affects that? ??? Other than that the only other thing i can ask is that the head follows the Movement Direction rather than the front wheel in air. Other than that Its Pretty great :)

Also another little Thing thats a tad bit odd is how light weight the front wheel is at a complete stop. The rider can turn it back and forth like he can in the air. The Bike is a few hundred pounds digging into the dirt and you cannot turn the front wheel that freely because of resistance and the treads of the tire digging into the dirt. By changing this i feel this would put a huge Advancement to the low speed stability problem because you would be able to keep the wheel straight once beginning to throttle rather that it doing that little back and forth jerk before you get your speed up Due to Gyroscopic Forces not Yet becoming a stabilizing factor. This would improve starts, and just overall low speed stability in general.
Great Game just some Constructive Criticism. Keep up the great work

I honestly dont like the idea of it being on steam just for the fact i feel like it will ofcourse attract alot more attention ( Good for Pib ) However may not be good for MXB. I feel like it will attract an audience who isnt as serious about the sport or know really what they are doing, talking about and may cause extra stress and confusion. Also i feel like there would be a few of those guys who dont even treat it like a simulation and try and make it into an arcade-ish game of some sort. My opinion ofcourse  ;D
