Hey all!

I know this has been talked about before but I never really found a solid answer so I figured I'd just save the week of looking around for what to do and just ask lol, but my question is how do you properly save objects with a normal map? (and/or other maps if possible?)  I've been slowly learning blender and started getting into working with normal maps and roughness maps on objects, I have the ground textures pretty understood at this point, so I moved onto the objects for a bit more realism.  I have everything working in blender but when I export and convert everything all my normals end up not doing anything, does it have to do with file naming?  I know that can be a bit sensitive or could it be something I need to do in blender?

-Thanks a bunch guys!
(I can't express how much help you all have given!!)

Track Editing / Object Faces Issues
November 12, 2021, 09:14:38 PM
I'm having trouble getting my fence poles to work right,  I've double checked the face orientation in blender but for some reason I keep having the weird inside out effect when I load up in game.

Track Editing / Advanced texturing help?
July 29, 2021, 04:30:23 PM
Hey everyone loving all the information out there on track building, been having a blast getting back into it all the way back from the MCM days, so thank you to everyone who has put work out there making this a much easier job than in the past!

Anyways I've run into something I haven't been able to figure out and that's how to add detailing ruts and tractor treed over the top track layer that flow, I can get a good amount of detail out of using the masks to add general definition but nothing like really detailed top layers you see in some of the high end tracks these days.  Is there anywhere to look or just a general concept I can check out?

Thanks again guys!
