Hi,
Has the game been updated? All of a sudden the replay features are not working any more.  It used to record the practice session and race 1 and race 2.  Now it only records whatever your last lap was.  I have tried to reinstall the game a few times but same result.  Any ideas what has happened to the replay features?

I'm using the steam version of the game.

Please advise.

OMG, you saved my life.

The Tilt slider was set at 100 on MX Bikes and 0 on GP Bikes.

Setting the tilt slider to 0 on MX Bikes made all the difference in the world.

[MX Bikes Horizon Example]

What's up with the horizon in MX Bikes? It is moving all over the place. To give you an example of what I'm talking about I'll post some images of MX Bikes horizon and GP Bikes horizon.  BTW - GP Bikes horizon works perfectly-Great Job; why doesn't MX Bikes horizon work the same way?

MX Bikes Horizon Example
In the first image (MXBikes-1) You'll notice the bike is setting upright and the horizon is level.

In the second image (MXBikes-2)  You'll notice the bikes is leaning and the horizon has moved almost 45 degrees.  Why doesn't the horizon remain level?  Do I have a setting out of order; or is my install bad?


GP Bikes Horizon Example
In the first image (GPBikes-1) You'll notice the bike is setting upright and the horizon is level.

In the second image (GPBikes-2) You'll notice the bike is leaning and the horizon remains level.

GP Bikes horizon make for a very pleasant ride as opposed to MX Bikes horizon which makes for a more nauseating ride.

How do I get MX Bikes horizon to remain level even while the bike is leaning?

Looking forward to using it for both MX Bikes and GP Bikes; I think it is a great tool.

The fbx2edf tool what is it for?  Can I use it to convert a track that is in FBX format to a Track that will be in EDF format; and have a file that will open in the Tracked tool?

Isn't the Trainer the same as a ghost?  The Trainer feature is really a great addition to MX Bikes.  You can save 4 or 5 of your best laps and load them all in the trainer and have them on track with you all at the same time.  That would be like having 4 or 5 of your best ghost riding all around you.  The only thing that could make it better would be to have the trainers show up in the replays.

What port number should I use to run my dedicated server - I will be running the client on the same machine as well.
Piboso posted this  - NOTE: if a client runs on the same PC, port 54210 cannot be used.  So I'm asking what port can be user to run both the dedicated server and the client on the same machine?

Thanks teeds for a very informative post.  I'll work my way through your outline and see if I can get a DS working.
I notice your comment in the second line stating that I cannot run a DS and join the DS with just the steam version.  So if I understand you correctly I need to visit the link you have provided, download the "DEMO" version of MX Bikes and use the demo version to run the "DS"; then I should use the "STEAM VERSION" MX Bikes to join the DS as it should be listed in the matchmaker once I click the race button?  By the way, I don't see any links to the forum but I do see two (2) links to the download page.

I purchased the game through Steam - MX Bikes version beta 14e.
I would like to know the procedure to start a dedicated server.
Please do not link me to a forum thread; I would like a step by step procedure to get a dedicated server up and running for the community.  I have the default Steam install path, files and directory structure, so please use this in your instructions.  If I need to create some files (maybe a config.ini or server.ini) that did not come with the default Steam install please mention this and the exact location/path and folder they need to be placed in.

I have a question about the "Music Volume slider".
I do not hear any music when I start the game or when I play the game.  The music volume slider has been set to 100%.
I do hear the game sounds and the user interface sounds but no music.
Do I need to place a music CD in the CD tray of my computer or is this a soon to be added feature?
What am I missing here?
