Documentation / Re: Dedicated server

Had mine set for a few days and no results have been produced yet. Just changed it over to html to see if that changes anything.

results = html ; html or xml. If set it will automatically export results at the end of the last session
directory = C:\Output ; the directory where results will be saved ( must exist )
units = 2 ; 0 -> metric units, 1 -> US units, 2 -> UK units

Only thing I've not tried is XML, give HTML a go. Also I've used this in GPBikes not MXBikes yet, will test and see if it works for me in MXB.

Have you tried setting the units? Not sure if it's required but always had mine set when using this.

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: Universal Bike Setup
« on: September 13, 2018, 07:50:15 AM »
There is a kind of way to do this, just copy the setup you make initially to any other track when using the same bike. There's a "Copy" option in the garage to do this, just browse through the other tracks to find a previously made setup and copy it over.

As usual, nice job Asdrael  :)

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: Lean and tear-off suggestions

I really like this feature, though, I feel like it isn't enough. You could ride a whole race without pulling any tear-offs. IMO the dirt-on-screen effect should be more. Make it harder to see so you actually have to pull a tear-off.

I was thinking we need less dirt, IRL I can ride a several 20 mins sessions in the dry and not get much on my goggles. In the wet more but it's already too much in the dry if you ask me. Also those that ride 3rd person have no dirt in their view, so why increase the problem for 1st person riders?

General Discussion / Re: MX Bikes beta9

Something that has got distinctly worse is when people join online. It used to be pretty smooth but now it seems all bikes disappear, some for several seconds, it's very jarring.

Yea the net code seems a lot better than before and bike collisions seem to work ok too (I was worried about this when you said "less accurate"). Also noticed that when I look down in VR the rider has 2 left feet  ;D

I've setup a stock B9 server running Club but it seems like all that join it get a bike mismatch? Please try yourself if you can to confirm.

I get FPS drops in VR lots, mostly it's 90 but when I face certain things it drops to 40 instantly and goes back to 90 when I turn away. Guessing an object on the map is causing it bit it's odd that there seems to be no FPS steps between 90 and 40?

BTW i'm on i7-8700K, 1080ti, 16GB Ram, Vive Pro on Win10.

Nice, the rear end stepping out on power is great fun to do now in this game eh, most realistic  :)

Indeed, it's elaborate, but still just elaborate spam I suspect.

Nice 1 for hosting. I got the garage bug crash just before race one and couldn't join again as the race had started.

This was surprisingly easy to do -
