FTP account info posted in the first post.  :)

Thx a lot !

Thanks to that, if in the future you change the FTP server (maintaining the folder structure, which is likely) I can do the change in 10sec flat (on all profiles at once) :)

Update: Download new profiles for syncback for 24/7 server. Link is in the instructions above. Thanks to Geo and Motosave (for the 24/7 server)!

One question: would it be possible to have the FTP login details (login, password) written in the 1st post with the instructions ?
I have my own profiles and it's much quicker for me to modify the FTP details than downloading your profiles and adapt them to my needs.

Of course I would only need the "read only" FTP login credentials (the ones that you put in the Syncback profiles) *not* the "write" ones (the ones you use to upload to the FTP.

And thanks to Geo :)

I really appreciate your effort but this thing can only work if the FTP is hosted on a true server, up 24/7 and with adequate bandwidth.

Life was so much easier when the old syncback was there: I even managed to convince the GPB guys to use the same idea :)

This Large Address Aware is used in GPB too..

Is there any way something similar can be incorporated into MXB (and other PiBoSo titles)? Or is there a better solution?
The LAA hack is literally one bit changed in the .exe. PiBoSo could decide to do it by default, but it's still some sort hack, helpful only up to a point.

The only true way forward would be for PiBoSo to make his sims 64-bit, but that may be quite some work.

  • HUDMap: cosmetic changes (lines for finish/trap/split points, plus arrow for track direction).
  • HUDJoypad: cosmetic changes.
  • HUDRadar: cosmetic changes (flying markers are now triangular).
  • HUDHelmet: rotation factor has now finer settings (10deg steps). You’ll need to redo all the settings of this widget.

Does this work with beta6? I tried this app but it didn't work. This is a great tool. I use telemetry in iracing to tune my setup and it worked great for me.
No it doesn't. I need to update it to the latest plugin interface.

If it is like GPB, anything above 512 (MB) will be capped to 512, so you can put 1,000,000 and that would still be 512.

There are variou sstability test around in order to stress-test your CPU, GPU and even both at the same time (which of course will also stress-test your PSU).

Prime95 for the CPU, furmark fr the GPU is the popular combo.

Do you need to start LAA each time bfore you start the game? Or just once?
Just once as it changes the exe.

Put the LAA tool in "Intermediate mode", add one (or more) .exe and it will tell its current state and original value.

Yeah, I was surprised that still allows to connect online, but maybe that doesn't mean that there's no other check done on the .exe.

Don't think it will have much of an impact on server but who knows.

Have to admit I was sceptical when I first heard of this, but as recently I was having all sort of issues in GPB with large tracks, I gave it a try and the result is very clear for me. Mind, it may be specific to my setup, hw etc etc. And it may have side effects. Anyway, it's ultra-easy to undo the change so ...
