Thanks and excuse my ignorance, I didn't realize there was a thread dedicated to this.

Hi there, I bought the game back in 2015 and no longer have access to the original email or Paypal account I used to buy it. I was hoping to have my key transferred to a steam key.  is this possible?

Why do you want to do this though? There is zero reason to extract the .pkz.

I'm having a PC problem which won't allow me to install the game,  I get a File Corrupt error when i run the installer.  When I try to manually unpack the .exe with 7zip or Winrar I can extract all files except for bikes.pkz and tracks.pkz which prevents me from playing the game.  When I try to extract bikes.pkz or tracks.pkz it returns with a CRC error and won't extract from the .exe installer.  Within the bikes.pkz and tracks.pkz are folders carrying the same name which can be used in place of the .pkz files.  I was asking if someone could please upload those folders(bikes and tracks found within bikes.pkz and tracks.pkz) to my Onedrive account linked above.  This is an attempt to work around the error I am getting trying to extract the data.  This is my only option as I can't contact support because it seems to be a PC problem and not a problem with the installer itself.

For some reason my computer won't extract bikez.pkz or tracks.pkz.  I get a CRC error and it won't install or let me manually unpack it.  Could someone please upload a copy of those files to my Onedrive account at this link ? https://1drv.ms/f/s!AuGm8oOXd96nsJonXP8MV-MOyfYewQ
Thanks in Advance.
Hey man I tried sharing those files but one drive wont accept it unless I compress which defeats the purpose since you can't extract. Are you using win.rar to open the .pkz? If not use that it's free.

I've tried Winrar and 7zip,  the problem seems to be with my PC as I can't even extract B8, which I was able to when it first came out.  I get a corrupted setup error when I try to run the .exe , and a failed due to CRC when I try to extract manually but only on the bikes.pkz and tracks.pkz .  As a workaround I used the files that I have installed from b8 but I'm sure I'll be missing out on the bike enhancements from b9.  Maybe if it's not too much trouble could you extract the folders from the .pkz's and then zip it as a .zip or .rar and upload it in that form?  It's the only other way I can think of to get it working.

When I try to install I get an error "mlnst Setup file is corrupted".
Might need to re download it. Sounds to me that file got corrupt during download. Happened to me with beta 7.
Thanks I'll try downloading from the other link.
I didn't have any luck with that I'll try updating my OS then try it again.

For me I lean opposite direction in corners and have no problem with traction or stability, my problem is that I just literally can't lean any further to get through the corner faster. I'm guessing Sandy is just really good at keeping momentum with the limited lean angle.

Lowering the Stability help will let you to turn in a little more but will cause the front end to wash out easier.  I'm using it at 90% and I find it to be a perfect.  Lowering stability also gives a little quicker throttle response.

I've tried both leaning into corners, leaning forward, and not leaning at all, but I've noticed no change in speed at all. I just don't get how some people (one in particular) can go like 6 seconds a lap faster. I feel like I push as hard as possible for how much I can turn. But obviously physics among other things are still a serious problem for this game.

*cough* Sandy *cough*

The difference is in stability and tire grip, which in turn if used correctly can generate more speed.  if you sit and  lean to the outside of a turn while on the turn exit you can get a massive drive while keeping the bike tracking straight and avoiding the rear from swapping back and forth, without counter leaning the bike will not track straight and will continue to lean into the straight causing you to give less throttle in order to control the trajectory.  If you practice leaning enough you will find a big difference in control-ability.

There is a new setting called "rider tracking" which i believe might be auto lean.  If you have this setting enabled you cannot use manual lean and you can confirm this by using 3rd person camera.  If you uncheck this setting you will enable manual leaning and will get  all the benefits from it.

I've found that they do indeed help you turn,  leaning towards the outside will give you much more traction coming out of the turn than not doing so and will also keep the bike a bit more stable.  Just like IRL the difference isn't huge until you're riding at an advanced level, then you'll notice laptimes will get lower as you master body position.

Since stability is now set at 100% by default, it may be overriding certain lean inputs in order to keep the rider more stable.

I find whips much easier if you sit and lean back on the face of the jump.

You have to be accelerating while leaving the face of the jump,  not accelerating or leaving the face while hitting the rev limiter will cause your front end to drop.  This can be counteracted in the air by holding full throttle which lowers the rear tire.  Your trajectory through the air is determined on the face of the jump so throttle control is key.  Increasing rebound damping in the rear will also reduce the bikes tendency to lower the front.
