Bug Reports / rider FPV camera low rpm shake
May 08, 2020, 07:46:35 AM
I don't know if this technically counts as a bug but when the 1st person camera is locked to rider and not the bike (in settings) the riders view micro shakes from side to side at low RPMs/speeds (a simular problem used to rear it's ugly head on certain tracks in the past). This is headache inducing and makes it impossible to play in this view. When the view is fixed to the bike there are no such issues.

I use ED-tracker, don't know if that affects it or not.

Can we at least get an option to remove the shaking if it is indeed intended to shake (for immersion?)?

In B14b I can't feel that moving the rider forward or backward in the air has any effect on the bike. Also when I use the rear brake in the air the front tire does not come down as it should. All this leads to a lot of incidents when you accidentally have a bit too much power off the jump then you are screwed because you land like doing a wheelie... Have others noticed this as well or is it just me?

Right now it is very hard to know in 1st person if you are standing or sitting on the bike. A small indicator icon would really help. Maybe Max (MaxHud) could work something out if he had the data from you to do it?

Could somebody give me some pointers on how to ride the supermoto bike? My feeling is that it understeers a lot. I've tried backing it in to the corner, dabbing the rear break, with limited success since the bike want to stand up and point in the direction it did before the slide. Tried to compensate with throttle to power slide trough but the rear keeps coming around on me, or, with less throttle I can't get it to slide. Also tried leaning forward in the corners, but then the rear comes around almost instantly. Is it me that sucks and need to practice more, or am I using the wrong method?

If you have left/right rider movement and then try to overwrite with manual input the rider does not move properly. It is clear to see in 3rd person view (although I always ride 1st person). Stand still, lean rider left and right with "Auto" on in settings, rider does not move as he should. Turn off "Auto" left/right and the rider moves.

Don't know if it's just the visuals, meaning that the rider actually moves but we just can't see it, or if he doesn't move "for real". Does not seem to be the same problem with forward/backwards overwrite.
