Hey,

Is it possible to save two input settings for two different controlers and then changing them without the need to calibrate and set buttons one by one?

Plugins / Re: Output Plugins

Hi,

I would like to gather output data (speed) and convert it to signal. It would be than used to make "force feedback" for my MXB simulator.

Is here anyone willing to help me write DLL so I can collect this speed data and send it to USB port and to Arduino?

Off Topic / MX BIKES simulator
September 07, 2021, 03:26:31 PM
Hi,
some of you might remember my post about simulation bike for MXB..
After almost a year (two months ago) I came back to continue on this project and since then I work everyday to make this happen. I rebuld throttle/brake/clutch mechanisms, implemented gyroscope and made "under bike" mechanism.
It is not perfect by any mean, it is a little scary, makes weird sounds, but it is fun as hell to ride.
On the video below you can see me on JS7 national track (not a lot of turns out there, but it is still possible to see how I lean in turns. It is not well captured video, the lean is much bigger IRL)

I still have a ton of work ahead of me - rear brake (lol), physical leaning limits, body of bike (gas tank so you can hold it with knees ect), some kind of force feedback (not so easy to get up from lean) and the list goes on..

If there will be someone well known of the game and would like to help me consult some things, I would be happy.

(sorry for poor english)

Super trať, fakt z ní mám "českej" pocit když jezdim. Dobrá práce, pěkný textury i terén.
Uvažoval jsem nad předěláním a vylepšením Dalečína co jsem sem postoval před časem.. Měl bys třeba chuť se do toho zapojit?

Did you used "Calibraition" button first?

It is already in-game.. If you want this skin, just download template and do it..
BTW, how old are you? You have 9 posts and all of them are asking to make Thunder Valley and this bike  :o
If you came from MXS it is quite understandable, but our community is not as big, so if you would like some new things, there is no easier way than do it by yourself and help this community grow  :)

Quote from: teeds on May 14, 2020, 06:01:31 PMMaybe you could combine the inputs from both the bike lean and steering inputs to get full lock?

Also hope you've got a big base to stop that falling on ya when you crank it over   :)

I was thinking about combining these two inputs for steering, but I am not sure how to implement rider lean... I might not use it at all. How did you solve this on your simulator?

Yes I have 2x2 meters base :)

For now it is only possible to steer by rotating bars. (like your handlebars teeds) But as I said, in future there will be mechanism under the main frame, so you can move freely with whole bike to all directions.

My vision is to have simulator-like machine with sitting in corners, leaning the bike to turn etc.

Software side is done, now I need to complete mechanical parts and then software details.

I can post some visualization of under-bike mechanism later today.

Hey guys and thanks for your interest.
I have been inpired by teeds "simulator" - handlebars to play the game. And I moved it little bit more forward.

I made full bike from old frame and I am slowly adding all the components. So far I have throttle, front break (which I use like combined for now), shifting and steering. My next steps are clutch, rear brake, button uder the seat to indicate sitting and standing and few buttons so I can tearoff, look back, reset etc.
My question regarding the throttle increase is exactly what is shown on CBS videos, but I would like to rather do it in software and not buying more accessories, at least for now.. Maybe when whole "controller" will be ready.

Thank you for this update!! I can finally rip that Yamaha around the track again!
