Quick question:

What makes a user an advanced user? Are you going to have to prove your skills? Prior work? Maturity? Does it just come down to who you want to be advanced and not advanced?

I like the idea though, less goony things being made and gives people something to build up to.

"Advanced" means "with the needed skills". Modding will require a lot of knowledge, especially physics.

Deadzone on sticks would be the best!

Once again, the suggestion is to download GP Bikes: http://www.gp-bikes.com/?page=downloads
to see how controls settings will work in MX Bikes.

Too soon to tell and I don't see a reason to speculate. After playing the alpha we will have a better idea, but even then it will be too soon to tell.

Version 1 is when you can start making judgements.

After alpha1 you will probably have a very good idea if you like it or not. It's not going to change much after that.

Will there be options to build supercross and arenacross tracks within stadiums/arenas/warehouses/etc?

No reason why not.

This is interesting... As a sport in general, i would think gp racing would be more popular than motocross. I know nothing about gp racing though, so..

Apparently, it seems to be the opposite  :)

When deformation is added to the game will it be full time or something you can toggle on or off?

It will not be possible to turn deformation off.
Will deformation be different on each traction. For example, sand tracion = big and deep ruts/bumps, hard pack is small ruts/bumps. Or will track makers will be able to change the deformation settings themselfs?

At the moment there is a "softness" parameter for each material layer, but this may change.

things get way off topic too fast around here xD,
anyway, to stay on topic...
Not sure if this has been asked before but how will the physics thing work? When you say we can mod it, do you mean like an advanced stability type thing, or just a slider? MXS guys know what im talking about here..

Physics modding means that it will be possible to create new bikes and set masses, inertia, geometry, suspensions, tyres, ... For advanced users only.

Piboso, is the idea to have the track tools ready for alpha so we can start playing around and give feedback or will that come later?

Track tools are not ready for release yet.

Will multiplayer be available in the alpha aswell?

Yes, but don't expect it to be flawless or to have races with 40 riders.

I still dont get it why you change the creation method. I liked the method for krp,wrs and gpb

Heightmaps are better suited for this kind of tracks, and overall much easier to create.

Not sure if this has been asked, but will this game use Sphere or Mesh collisions for the bikes/rider?

A mix of spheres and boxes.
