General Discussion / Re: MX Bikes beta9

Maybe you forgot about beta 8. You know, where the other riders were a slideshow across the track...
Ill say its an improvement to say the least. Collision issues with racing games is always an issues. Plus
the daily dev page already posted something about accuracy improvements.

Anyhow I was responding to when you actually did say that the online game play is worse...

I don't mean to sound like a little b***h
I was surprised how easily you were rattled and quit on me recently lol. I was taken out on the start and later you were down when I hit your bike. Then we both got stuck on the jump face and that was it for you. C'mon man! You gotta have thicker skin than that mate! I'm so used to being taken out, down or lapped that I just stay for the duration and get the practice in. You're not a little bitch, maybe just a diva lol.

It just gets old. That wasn't the only time. Also I'm normally on for a whole practice, a race starts just as I'm thinking about stopping anyway, then the whole getting taken out thing happens.

It doesn't seem intentional, it just doesn't matter how it happens I ALWAYS come off worse. If I've banged bars with someone 30 times in b9 I've gone down 30 times. Simple as that, it's not fun anymore.
That's because of the 'smoothness over accuracy'. My post where I linked Gdub's video explains it.

Even though online looks better now, the overall online experience is worse now.

Overall online game play is worse now?  ::)
Hmm i am not sure if you guys are becoming as toxic as the sim community or what....
But the online game play is much better than it was and the proof is that people are playing online...
Just saying I think no matter what with communities like this any little negative will out weight the positives 10x

Suggestions and wishlist / Re: 3rd person suggestion

+1 as well going through breaking bumps while in 3p is brutal on your eyes. I ride in both first and third like you mention tfc, and we buy games to play them for fun so we can play in any view we would like simulator or not. Physics are still the same and controls alike only advantage is view of track, but I suppose you can do that in first with turning your head?

Bikes / Re: OEM Models Templates

Hiya,

I've had a look around and have been unable to find the templates for the new OEM models to create some new liveries and what not, can anybody point me in the right direction? Are they available and if so can somebody send some through?

Thanks for any help!
If you are just looking to create graphics for the bikes, they are called paints and the templets are under paints, and if not you have to ask whoever made them i believe.

Great idea ill be getting involved for sure.

Online has been lonely that's for sure.

however this doesn't really mean you have to play online  :P
Oh I know. Maybe doing this would get people back in the mood to play online is how I should have worded it.  ;)

I totally understand and I hope the same, been a while since ive seen you online as well. since motosavage servers went down. :/

Paints / Re: 2018 Shift Blue Label Gear

So glad to see some other people putting some time and effort into the game. I'm working on building a couple tracks myself. Learning the work flow as well  as far track editing. I know a few people that know what they are doing. However they aren't ever really around anymore and there is little to no tutorials so I'm using the text tutorial I believe tfc made. Pm me any questions and we can troubleshoot together.

By the way, Gear looks great I'll run it for sure!

"multiplayer will have to be greatly improved during the upcoming months." -PiBoSo

Keep this a priority and the community will explode no matter the physics change because its rideable and hard.

I also believe limiting servers to specific bike types/dynos is an issue because of connectivity problems..

However im sure you are tired of people telling you what to do with your game.

Hope you keep your word my man...

Thank you Geo for being the guy to say something despite your past drama.

If the online play was even a slight more smooth that is one thing and we could live with the clunkiness of other riders while online.

The real issue is not even half of the people that are still playing this beta even attempt to play online.

I would love to get our group together and start a series for this community and watch it explode, but honestly its not worth the headache.

Without a doubt only 4 or 5 people would show up and probably 20 others or more would give up due to connectivity issues.

All we really want is some feedback as to a possible solution or if anyone is even looking into the issue.

Otherwise maybe its worth putting time elsewhere.

Little something in the works, trying to figure this out.

Looks even better with some mud on it in game. Good stuff as always Brandon!

Support / License Key
November 09, 2017, 07:30:59 AM
Whats up y'all, I seem to have made a stupid mistake and purchased the game today using my paypal account that was linked to a email that doesn't exist anymore. I understand piboso is the one to contact? Is it best to contact him about issues like this on the forum or does support issues go through email only. Just wondering if anyone else has ran into a similar issue. Look forward to getting into the mix in the community!

Thanks,

BC
