Quote from: MOTOKID766 on June 16, 2020, 05:50:40 AMif anyone can make thunder valley that would be sooo sweet!

please im begging anyone!
just a view to the track in this video
I have a Beta version I have been working on for a while now but us adults have responsibilities like work, paying bills, and families to look after. It's not all that hard you can make it yourself if you have the time instead of begging for someone else to make it. Just get Google Earth, L3DT and the track building kit then watch TFC's tutorial, and it should only take you a few weeks and you will have your own version!

Setups / Re: Throttle increase
September 21, 2020, 02:48:08 AM
Quote from: jirka63 on May 13, 2020, 12:19:55 PMHey guys and thanks for your interest.
I have been inpired by teeds "simulator" - handlebars to play the game. And I moved it little bit more forward.

I made full bike from old frame and I am slowly adding all the components. So far I have throttle, front brak (which I use like combined for now), shifting and steering. My next steps are clutch, rear brake, button uder the seat to indicate sitting and standing and few buttons so I can tearoff, look back, reset etc. But most interesting is mechanism I will put under the bike and it will be possible to lean F/B and L/R.

My question regarding the throttle increase is exactly what is shown on CBS videos, but I would like to rather do it in software and not buying more accessories, at least for now.. Maybe when whole "controller" will be ready.

See pic bellow, so far it is very WIP, but everything works as it should and it is possible to ride ingame.

Now I am little bit stuck, because I have 1 month old daughter, but I have plan to finish this project by the end of the summer.

Instead of wasting a perfectly good dirtbike I just saw one of those exercise equipment companies came out with a stationary exercise bike that leans left to right and has a screen built into the front of it I guess so it makes it look like your riding on the road. I would look into modifying one of those since the stand is all built the monitor is there if you are using one all the electronics can be modified and just lose the pedals and get a set of two brothers klx110 footpegs and bracket to mount underneath it. Winter is coming here so I need a new stationary bike and I was looking saw this and remembered your project. You could even get some exercise while you play lol.

General Discussion / Re: Resetting Lap Times
September 19, 2020, 02:57:12 PM
Your welcome I am glad it worked. You know you can also share them with your buddies so if you run a fast time you can send it to me to see if I can beat it. If I do then I send it back to see if you can beat it. You can also have multiple ghosts on the track at once I have been experimenting with it and I have 5 different ghosts from all different people and two of my own that I saved so its almost like having a AI to Race against when you are testing.

General Discussion / Re: Resetting Lap Times
September 18, 2020, 03:28:00 AM
Quote from: Dominator on September 15, 2020, 02:46:14 PMHi all, I've got an issue that is really bugging me...
I was putting in some laps at MXB Club, a track that is on the game by default.
I set a track marker to the first corner ( just as you spawn, if you ride like 5 meters you'll be at this corner)
I set the marker so I can easily restart a lap if I mess up, which is pretty common for me  ;D
I was on an a fast lap, racing my ghost and I ended up crashing on one of the last few jumps, so I slammed the reset and took it as a loss, but when I reset my rider ( to my marker) it did not reset the lap timer, I didn't notice this and pulled off for my new lap and jumped the start/finish jump... this resulted in an impossible lap time, because it effectively cut out a good 10 seconds of the track as the timer was still running from the previous lap...
Is there a way to reset your lap records?
I have looked and looked but can't seem to come right so any help would be appreciated.

also, thanks to all the content creators out there, putting in loads of time and effort into MXB and making it the wicked game it is now! 😎
Go into PiBoSo\MX Bikes\profiles\trainers and delete it.
I am not sure if you have to go into the records.ini file and delete it as well its also in your profile folder. I don't think you have to that just stores your fastest lap time in case you wanna export it or just look back at your best times. Only go in there and delete the time if deleting the trainer doesn't work first.

You can also delete all your times from every track in that file if you really wanted to but I don't recommend it if anything cut and paste it to a new text document and store it somewhere else this way if you ever wanna go back and see those times you can. I try not to ever delete anything I keep all of it in a separate folder I learned the hard way with setups.

I like the older tracks made by Asdrael there are 3 of them the lips are not as steep but beware of the tuff blocks. When I first started I couldn't play any of the SX racks so I found Milestone SX which is a track out in California and its a great track to learn to corner and how to get through a rhythm section. You have a bit more room on Milestone in and out of the corners that's one thing I had a big issue with. I couldn't stop in time and couldn't get a good run out of the corner before the jump.

Here are some links that helped me to learn Supercross. Good luck and just stick with it and you will be ripping the 2020 tracks in no time!

Documentation / profile.ini questions
September 17, 2020, 08:59:49 PM
I looked in the profile.ini file thats in the PiBoSo folder and this is nowhere to be found is it something you will be adding or do we have to add it into the file ourselves? Also do we decrease by typing in .9 .7 and so on or is it just 1 and 0? I'm not even sure exactly what this will do but I am curious to learn more about the game.

Tracks / Re: Pacific SX

Another great track loved Mactown and I love this. Just one issue that's bugging me and its purely constructive criticism. You obviously know how to make SX style berms Mactowns were great in this track they felt more like walls it was a hard hit on the suspension on the transition up and the berms don't come all the way around the corner so you have nothing to bank off of coming out. It is still a great track and 100% playable! Once you run some laps you only notice it if you come in hot that's the only thing I found that was a bit off otherwise great job I look forward to more of these hybrid MX/SX Tracks! Keep up the good work! Oh and you had the perfect amount of objects for a Track like this. Not overloaded like a Pro National but enough to make it look completely legit!
Cheers

Track Editing / Re: Twisted mx or Martin mx
September 02, 2020, 04:56:08 AM
Quote from: Dr.Greenzz on August 28, 2020, 07:39:42 PMcan someone make twisted mx on mx bikes. its a really fun track and it would be cool to ride. Martin is also a cool track too it has a lot of ruts and fun sections

Get going there are plenty of tutorials and guides. There are no excuses in this game for not trying to make whatever you want the community is also very helpful when you have questions. Do a search for TFC Track Tutorials and start there ask any questions you have here or in the discord server. You will get answers quicker in discord. One thing the community seems to look down on big time is when you ask to have someone else build something. I have seen first-time track makers ask a hundred questions and they all got answered but I have never seen someone ask for something to be built and then it actually happens. Most of the time people get very short or rude about it because its something you could easily attempt yourself!

Nicely done! I am building my first track right now so I am just learning about all of this but I imagine this helps out big time. Thanks for sharing it with everyone you could have just kept it for yourself like a lot of people in other communities would do! I am sure once I learn a lot more this tool will really come in handy because I have a pretty big list of tracks I wanna build for this game. Its time to start bringing back some of the tracks from the 90's so thanks again for your hard work!
Cheers

Paints / Re: New Anime Graphics and Gear
September 02, 2020, 04:30:31 AM
Wow, unbelievable! Thats two things that should never go together Anime and Dirtbikes. No offense you did a great job with the kit! It's just Anime and Motocross just doesn't work together! What's next Hello Kitty Graphics or how about making some of I think its called "Furries" Gear! I have seen those Anime kids/people and I doubt they could even start a Motocross bike. Sorry like I said the work you did was good it's just one guys opinion here.

I bet he could make that track they didn't change it that much for the Pro's. I have 8+ hours of reference footage including my teams GoPro footage he could use. When I get done with the track I am building now that will probably jump ahead on the list unless he makes it. I just thought he did a really good job building the amateur I love ripping that track. One of my favorites!

Support / Re: Lock To Bike Setting
August 26, 2020, 11:34:32 PM
To me with it off it basically allows the bike and the rider to move in different directions in the camera view. So when you are not locked to the bike you can see the seat when your rider leans back or when you whip you see your side panels small stuff like that. Its was a little weird at first I thought but then I loved it and wont go back. I have never seen something like it in any Moto game before I thought it was pretty creative of PiBoSo to add.
