Tried using syncback for the first time and all the scans failed several times. Am I understanding correctly that the server is up one day at a time only  (wednesday?) or should I be troubleshooting other things?

That was a collaboration proposal coming from another company.

I often regret detailing what happens behind the scenes of development. There is almost always a lot of misunderstanding.

I don't think there is any reason to regret disclosure of any kind. One thing that could help is MORE transparency and better overall communication. A lot of times both you and Snappe have very short, almost condescending replies. Now, you may not see them coming off that way, but sometimes more than a brief sentence is needed and would help with misunderstandings if you elaborated just a bit more. I don't have any clue what your work/life balance is and won't claim to understand everything you have going on, but a community driven project thrives when the developers are capable communicators.

Also, on the topic at hand and the community aspects I mentioned, why don't you lean more on the community to assist with asset creation to flesh out the game quicker while you do the physics/engine/etc work? I know there would be plenty of folks who would be happy with a simple named credit. Maybe have some kind of contract stating no money is to be exchanged so ther is no legal shit hitting the fan if someone decided later they wanted a piece of the pie. I just don't see why you wouldn't want outside help when there are so many that would offer it in a heartbeat. Again, I'm sure its all easier said than done.  :o

If Snappe's suggestion doesn't help, try installing Borderless Gaming https://github.com/Codeusa/Borderless-Gaming/releases. I've had a similar issue on my desktop and that's the only solution that works  :-\

Here's my posts explaining my issue http://forum.mx-bikes.com/index.php?topic=288.msg12587#msg12587

Just curious if there are different LOD's included in this? When watching replays the rider is headless until up close. Maybe just me?

Not sure if its just me but i cant get helmets to work on beta 4, i could on beta 3 but now whatever i do they do not show up in the menu? anyone know why? ive got a rider folder with helmet, gloves, paints and boots in, everything works except helmets, slightly confused

Since the SE3 is a new model, not just a skin, you must place the whole SE3 folder inside the helmets folder.

P.s. Thank you to conceptgraffmx for the models/skins. Nice to have a good looking helmet finally! Great job

Bug Reports / Re: Resolution

Steven-
Thanks for the input. So I tried the UI scaling fix, no luck. So at this point I am having this issue on 2 different monitors and a 1080p TV that I have tried. Such a weird issue. Now as a fun bonus, editing the .ini file is no longer working. It boots into full screen no matter what now and I can no longer even play at this point. I will try a fresh install again at home.  :(

By blurry mess, I mean that when it is booting into windowed mode it isn't a borderless window therefore it is not scaling at the full resolution selected so it was not sharp. It looked like a lot of aliasing going on if that makes sense. I am not familiar with the borderless gaming software...quick search pulled up a few options. Any clarity on which to use? Even better if there is a borderless option in mxb .ini or similar.

Thanks again, hope I can play again soon.

no matter what resolution I choose in fullscrrn mode my mouse is stuck in an invisible box. I'm not able to fully navigate the menu; reach certain ui elements. Any idea how to fix this? I have not added or changed anything in the last 72 hours or so. I've tried changing resolutions in the .ini, no luck. It works like normal in windowed mode.  :o

So it appears I am still having this issue. the only way i can navigate the menus is by editing the .ini to force windowed mode, which is not ideal as its a blurry mess. I have manually adjusted resolutions, done it through the in-game menu, disabled v-sync in the nvidia control panel as suggested by gdub, turned off nvidias DSR, tried alt-enter when in-game...nothing. The screen appears properly scaled; ie not blown up too large to access menus, but my mouse is bound to an invisible box no matter what resolution i choose unless I un-check fullscreen, which dissallows any menu navigation. Super weird and frustrating as this only happened as of B3/B4. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

Windows 10 64bit
GTX980ti
4k monitor (also tried on my 1080 monitor)

Try editing the full screen value in the same mxbikes.ini. Under the resolution it says fullscreen=1. Change the value from 1 to 0 and save and restart Mx bikes
12
Try manually setting the resolution. Go to the installation directory, (where you've installed Mx bikes) then you'll see two .ini files, one name core.ini and the other mxbikes.ini. Open the mxbikes.ini with a text editor. In that text file on the bottom it will have an x and y value. If it says 0, erase the zeros and type your correct resolution for your monitor. If it's a 1920 x 1080 monitor just do 1920 for x and 1080 for y. Then save the file and restart Mx bikes

Sorry to drag this thread from the grave. I'm having what I believe what may be a resolution issue. I don't know what happened from yesterday to today, but no matter what resolution I choose my mouse is stuck in an invisible box or something. I'm not able to fully navigate the menu; reach certain ui elements. Any idea how to fix this? its weird because its doing this in Mx Simulator as of today as well. Only those two programs are affected as of now. I have not added or changed anything in the last 72 hours or so. I've tried changing resolutions in the .ini, no luck. It works like normal in windowed mode.  :o

I have noticed an immense increase on my CPU tho and its similar to GPB now where it takes ages to select different skins.

Same here...I have a 5930K i7 and a gtx980. It takes a tremendous amount of time longer to load bikes, skins, menus, tracks everything. Even the mouse cursor while doing replays, menu navigation, etc. its very choppy. I also had to go from 4k with everything maxed with well over 60fps to 1080p with 3d grass off to get 60fps  :'(. I have the latest drivers. Only happened since switching to beta 3.

Have you purchased the full version of MX Bikes? Custom content only works when you buy a license. If so, all you need to do is go to C:/program files x86/mxbikes/tracks/(downloaded track folder)
