Tracks in MXB will be a heightmap, essentially. There's much more to it than just this, but the track tools are not finished so I won't go into specifics yet.

We will release some screenshots as soon as there is something nice to see :-)
Currently it's all a bit placeholder!

A lot of progress has been made quite quickly, but there's still a way to go before the sim is 'presentable'.
If there is enough interest, there's a possibility of having a closed alpha before beta1, sometime in Q1 next year.
