What about an animated crowd, and a cheering sound over them?

Will Mx-bikes have tricks or fmx mode?
Will we be able to add or modify rider animations?
The intrack objects can be animated aswell?
Mx bikes supports rider placement ans weels placement right? so, can we change the amount of wheels to do a quad bike or any vehicle?
Can the Bikes properties be changed in order to be able to replicate the weight and behavior of a downhill bike? (i always wanted to make a downhill bike for mx sim but it wasnt really possible)
Also, can the suspension pivot be changed?

Sorry if i asked too much  ;D

Thanks!
Not sure about changing the actual rider animation, but I guess you can animate the textures.
Track objects will also not include model animation, just texture animations.
Not sure if you mean this, but there are joints just like in GP-bikes (http://gpbikes-mods.wikia.com/wiki/MountingPoints3D).

As MX181 said, it won't be a problem. When you set up a server, you can also setup what bike physics you want in that particular server.

Will we be posible to enable different kind of physics (50cc, 85cc, 125cc etc.) in one server, or can we only enable one per server?

I think I already know the answer. But are we able to create masive tracks?

yes you can, as piboso explained in one of the first posts, there are a few parameters to set the terrain scale and resolution:

samples_x = 2049
samples_z = 2049

^ this is the size of the heightmap, as long as it is power of 2 + 1 is fine. if your pc can handle it you could work on a 16385x16385 pixels wide heighmap.

size_x = 500
size_z = 500

^ here you set the scale of the terrain. so in this example the 2049x2049 pixel heightmap is scaled as 500x500 meters. resolution is 4.098 px/m
you want a huge terrain? just add a zero at the end.
be aware that of course you will have a lot less details, 5000x5000 m on a 2049x2049 px heightmap means 0.4098 px/m

as far as the ingame editor vs 3rd party, there's no need to start a fight, it's just a matter of taste.
i've never understand the mxsimulator editor, it is just too damn complicated and absolutely no user friendly, but i know that for many it's the best way to build tracks.
Thanks for the answer!

With a 2049 x 2049 map you can still set the scale to what you want.
That's what I mean. Thanks!  ;D

I think I already know the answer. But are we able to create masive tracks, like "L'enduropale du touquet"?
If you don't know what that is: It is a event which is once per year, it's a track on a beach and one lap is around 15 minutes. The soil is really soft, so there will form a lot of ruts in the terrain. It is a 3 hour race.

He said that the maximum practical size for a heightmap is probably 2049 so IDK how well something that big would work out.
Hmm, OK. Aren't we able to size the terrain itself? I mean, a heightmap of 2049 and then sizing the terrain bigger, but still keeping the 2049 heightmap? It's hard to explain, but that is posible in Mx Simulator, maybe someone can help me out explaining?  :-[

I've tried to make some basic textures for my SX track today, nothing special. The dispmap is made with the jumptemplate which got released for Mx-Sim (the one Checkerz made). The track layout is completly my own, and so are the textures.
I made this track for MX-Sim awhile back, but lost my track folder. I found my dispmap back tho.
I thought this would be a great supercross track for this game (even though we don't know the physics yet). It's a simple fast supercross track, and it is a lot of fun.
Here is a video of me riding it in Mx-Sim.

Here is a render I made in 3ds max, to see how the textures look with a normal map on them, and an image of the layout in 2d.

MX Simulator has bike and rider on same stick... No problems with whips there.
Nono. I use left stick for bike (left/right), and I use right stick for the rider (front/back).
Thats not the same.. in GP bikes you can lean left/right with the rider and bike separate. Not the same as sim.
I thought he meant in mx simulator that rider and bike were on the same stick. That isn't true, because you can change it.  ;D

Hello Gio, nice to see you around! I guess you know me from MX Sim.
Like Motoboss said, weather will be implemented as Piboso and Panne have confirmed.
The nutural position suggestion is awesome, but I agree with Motoboss that it shouldn't be too advanced, it would be cool to have just one slider where you can put your rider's weight more on the front, or the back of the bike.
I LOVE the practice server idea. I'm sick of waiting 10 laps and then another 10 minutes before a restart happens. I practice server won't have this, and it will be very cool to ride into the pits and make small changed on the bike setup. Once again, this is an AWESOME idea!
Modding will include physics and bike datas (as far as I know). BUT, a server will only suport the physics which are enabled on that server. I'm not sure it will be able to enable multiple physics in one server though. I would love to know this.

----

I just read Arvoss's post.
So about the multiple accounts. Will I be able to play together with my brother, once I bought one key (downloading the game on two computers and then use different profiles)?
The practice servers are great, I absolutly love that, just like I said above^.

I can't wait for this game anymore, everything sounds perfect!

Some wishes:
Mud on screen when riding onboard (+- confirmed since there is rain and dirt on screen in GP Bikes)
Broken suspensions/tyres when doing a hard landing

I think they're both confirmed already.
There will be tear-offs, so I'm sure that there will come mud on the screen too, otherwise tear-offs won't be necessary.

- No damage is planned for the bike
So that means that there won't be broken suspension and tyres on a hard landing. I actually like that there isn't any damage though, because that would probably ruin the fun.
