I feel like my whips are outdated... I do the standard turn one way, lean the other. I've seen like Pibiso and some other people throw more realistic whips. What do you do on the controller?

depends on the type of whip, sometimes i turn both sticks the same way and then flick the rider stick in the opposite direction depending on the jump. one way to really kick it sideways is to be standing until right before the back tire wants to leave the face and then sit down and pin it, it usually throws it really far and quick.

Since beta 8 and the OEM's just came out, we need some new stuff to ride them on. This is a old heightmap i made in MXS in 2014 that seemed like it would be fun to ride in MXB, this is nowhere near complete but its just something new to ride and dick around on

i made a little heightmap as a test and got everything setup, ran map.bat and then opened it in mapView and everything looked fine after tinkering with the scale of it a bit to where it looked rideable. setup the .tcl file just as this guide suggested

and im just at a loss here. about 2 years ago i remember doing this and getting a decent track setup but i cant see what im missing. i went through and followed the guide again and still with the same result.

OK so, several hours in and I'm noticing something..
Not sure if I'm alone but has anyone else noticed at very low speeds there is this almost ultra grip glue feeling where if you wobble to much it can buck you off the bike? Kinda hard to describe but it  feels like extreme grip, I've edited tire files so they are at highest grip levels and this almost feels the same.

Really loving beta 8 though, would love to hear what the plans are from here and to see where you wanna dive into next. If I'm honest the physics are very close but still not all the way there. What's you guy's thoughts?

Maybe I just got used to beta 7, but I miss the wheelspin as well.  Was eventually using it to cut out of corners quicker, now I can't provoke it much at all.

how so? i break my rear wheel loose in almost every corner to pivot the bike around

do a clean install, delete your MX Bikes folder that should be in your program files (x86) and reinstall the game just to make sure
