That was the point. We need to be independent like the AMA Nationals are.

This sport is for men, not for boys. Proves the point of Euros needing their own championship AND sanctioning body. We have the AMA and don't really want or need FIM to water down the racing and WADA to hand out disproportionate penalties. Obviously, if that happened, all we'd have is 5 less riders and a top-level competition, not child's-play like every other sport that's been ruined by pacifying the safety police. What's next? Trophies for every participant so no feelings are hurt? This also is an abnormal year for injuries. Go hold your own padded, restricted-power fully caged safety parade and see who shows.

I tried on the practice track server this weekend. If you let it sit and wait long enough, it says it's synching but if you alt-tab out and back in it's apparently already connected and then you're in the server. I usually would close it in task manager before discovering this.

That's a great start! If you make the "footpegs" further back, you would be closer to the ergonomics of a real bike and you could stand on the pegs when you feel you should without touching your feet to the floor.

The other day I went online and it was stuck on the "syncing" screen. I alt-tabbed out and in again, clicked cancel and poof! I was in the pits on the Practice Track server. It may have joined just fine, but didn't go past the sync screen even though I was in.

I saw 3 servers up tonight. Went into the Practice Track one. Said "Synching" forever. Alt-tabbed until I could click on cancel. Once I clicked cancel(thought it was a freeze or crash) I was in the pits on that server. Weird?

The last thing you do during install is check the little box that says "Register URL protocol". Do you remember doing that?

Sorry to harsh on you Pib. I've been with you since the first days of GPB before the revamp of the engine and got a little miffed at you putting so many irons in the fire. I for one believe you could definitely benefit from a collaborative effort as long as it's not a sellout. I always thought you and Josh L. Vanderhoof (MX Sim guy) should collaborate and get the best of both worlds in MX, but that is more delusion than dream(see what I did there?). We all want to see you succeed, since it's sorely needed in this genre, but also are quite frustrated at the incredibly long beta cycle. Good luck and I'll wait for your domination of the wheeled sim world!

Competing with iRacing. Doesn't that translate into taking a bite out of their share of online racing? How does online racing for WRS compare to iRacing?
