Im not down with the 3d lingo but if I asked the question "does MXB have a max poly count for bike models?" would that make sense? :)

im just wondering if p2sta's bike or Mace's bike above would work straight in MXB, or are they way WAY to high in "polys"? (sorry if im abusing the word, like i said my 3d knowledge is weak lol)

that video, or parts of that video should be put on the front page so people can see what is possible with MXB.

People who don't persevere with the demo can be put off thinking its impossible, but seeing that would give motivation to
stick with it and practice :)

Agreed.. I also think the pre alpha 2 video makes the whoops look more realistic - but who knows how it actually played.. Only a couple of people i guess, would love to know more about how it developed up to beta 1

I agree, we all know how we can mash together the odd vid that looks like were pro's, but truth be told, few of our laps are as clean as we see in these videos all the time :)

To do one beast lap i may do 10-20 bad ones lol

I just went to the stats page and changed my registered nickname from arnzzz to arnzzz1, just in the hope it may resync me in some way to the stats pages, unfortunately that hasnt worked.

I have a time on an MX2, on Maryland of "2.36" which was done on "2014-12-14".

The thing is I literally about 2 minutes ago ran an "~2.18" on the same track, same bike.

The new time still isnt showing. :(

Please note that stats are recorded online only.

Hey Piboso, I only ride on line when i want to do hot laps :)

I have ridden most nights this week on line on Practice track and Maryland and none of my times are showing :(

I have been playing MXB for months and ive just noticed that my lap times have not been updated on the "stats" page since around December 2014, which im gutted about because ive improved tons since then.

Why aren't they showing any more? can anyone tell me?

Geo: Don't really know, I think my average with 1 crash would be between 130 - 140

Nice arnzzz, keep at it man, 250 actually suits the track more, the more you nail it on the 350 the more you really have to hold back on some jumps

OK, so i just tried the 250 and im actually really happy with it. I had tried before but couldn't make the final jump before the turn to the finish, i was always coming up short.

So i opened the garage and clicked some buttons (don't know which lol) and now i can clear that jump.

So after about 5 laps i hit within half a second of my 350 time, and bearing in mind i have put MANY hours into the 350 that is pretty impressive. I think i can probably knock another 3 seconds off that because i know where im being very sloppy :)

we have one SX track here made from a community member (sorry, terrible with names) and the sets of bumps on that sx track are impossible for me to do consistently :)

So i see why people say things like that about MXB compared to MXS, but im sure that it will be more controllable in the future its still only beta 2.

In my head its related to the same issue you get when hitting a jump at any other angle than head on, it just throws the bike around to much, so if i hit the first bump slightly off, by the time i hit the second im WAY off angle and its a defo face plant at that point lol.

I don't see why people cannot like both MXB and MXS though, if you have the luxury to own both then good luck to you :)

I honestly may buy MXS soon, just because I like supporting all devs in Motorsport simulation, as its a pretty small crowd fulfilling this need of ours :)

Thanks dude, that helped!
It was really the best thing to buy the game! I love the selfmade tracks :]

Yeah there are some amazing community made tracks already. bodes very well for the future of MXB :)

Hey Mace-x, nice video :)

I seen you using the sit dab thing a lot in that video. Ive NEVER used it, does it help and in what situations?

I think ive not helped myself in that ive got so used to using the auto gears and not using sit dab, maybe i should learn :)

Ill wait till beta 3 to make my mind up lol :)#

Oh and Mac, do you ride in 3rd person or 1st person?
