Thanks again for the update!

Just wondering - and sorry if I missed it - how do you calculate the suspensions travel % ? I'm surprised it shows less than 100% even when in the air, and thus wonder if you can go below 0% or something.

I just normalize the susp length to the susp max travel, hence it should always be 0-100%. Guess only PiBoSo can answer this (why it doesn't reach 100%).

does this work with beta 8?

Not yet. I'll probably update it when the next GPB release is out too.

The file NPclient64.dll is used for the TrackIR ( Natural Point ) interface. It is an official file, but unfortunately it is not correctly loaded by MX Bikes beta8 either.
The FreeTrack interface should use freetrackclient64.dll instead.
OpenTrack can "emulate" TrackIR too (i.e. it can send EdTracker output via a TrackIR interface).
So, in absence of a freetrackclient64.dll, should this do the trick ? Maybe only after the fix you mentioned on top of beta8 ?

Just notived that EdTracker (via FreeTrack) doesn't work with MXB beta8.
Is this related to the move to x64 ? Is there anything "extranl" needed by MXB in order to have FreeTrack work again ?

Thank you for the report.
That goes to davidboda46 on GBP forum :)

The problem is indeed related to the 64 bit version.
The code has now been changed and the fix will be integrated in the next update.
However, there is an additional issue: the latest FreeTrack installer doesn't include the needed file "freetrackclient64.dll". There are some versions floating around the web ( that must be manually downloaded and installed ), but no official one, apparently.
Personally I use opentrack (which can expose a device as freetrack and provides a lot of fine-tuning) and from what I've read/understood it should work fine with x64: https://github.com/opentrack/opentrack/issues/117

Not sure about the "Use Process Explorer to see if npclient64.dll is used by the game process" : does it mean that MXB should load this instead of freetrackclient64.dll ?

Sadly, I think we have all vocalized for a long time that this is what we want, it would keep people interested and engaged in keeping up with the game and being involved in the community, but I'm not sure that is the way Mr. Pib wants to do it.  ???
Want or can ?

He has 3 otehr sims to support, each with a community asking for faster dev cycle.
Some say that once a bearded guy did some multiplication tricks with bread and fishes, but it's unconfirmed stuff at best :)

woould this work on beta 8 yet max?

edit: no it didnt
Even less chances than usual, given that beta8 is the 1st beta (across all PiBoSo sims) that is x84 instead of x86.

Good news, I've recompiled everything as it seems to work just fine with really minor changes.

I may push some stuff out in the next days.

Just compiled my MaxHUD for MXB x64: took me 2 hours to wrestle with Visual Studio configurations and platforms  ::)  ::)  ::) but code compiled fine without any change (*) and it runs just fine. Woot !!

(*) Well, of curse I have a bunch of size_t --> int warnings, no biggie.

FTP account info posted in the first post.  :)

Thx a lot !

Thanks to that, if in the future you change the FTP server (maintaining the folder structure, which is likely) I can do the change in 10sec flat (on all profiles at once) :)

Update: Download new profiles for syncback for 24/7 server. Link is in the instructions above. Thanks to Geo and Motosave (for the 24/7 server)!

One question: would it be possible to have the FTP login details (login, password) written in the 1st post with the instructions ?
I have my own profiles and it's much quicker for me to modify the FTP details than downloading your profiles and adapt them to my needs.

Of course I would only need the "read only" FTP login credentials (the ones that you put in the Syncback profiles) *not* the "write" ones (the ones you use to upload to the FTP.

And thanks to Geo :)

I really appreciate your effort but this thing can only work if the FTP is hosted on a true server, up 24/7 and with adequate bandwidth.

Life was so much easier when the old syncback was there: I even managed to convince the GPB guys to use the same idea :)

This Large Address Aware is used in GPB too..

Is there any way something similar can be incorporated into MXB (and other PiBoSo titles)? Or is there a better solution?
The LAA hack is literally one bit changed in the .exe. PiBoSo could decide to do it by default, but it's still some sort hack, helpful only up to a point.

The only true way forward would be for PiBoSo to make his sims 64-bit, but that may be quite some work.
