Pib, I cant believe I ever doubted you man. Truly a work of art here, finally gave me the reason to recommend the purchase for a friend and hoping to rock out together. Thanks for the work you all put in, just loving the game man.

Awesome job guys! I tried with 100, 50 and 0 stab assist and around 50% seems to be my sweet spot. Everything feels great and I'm really having fun! Can't wait to race online.

Was it Teeds that had the riding rig? I'll bet he loses his job and/or significant other after this.  8) Bravo team PiBoSo!

Ive just spent half hour on the supermoto, and i wasnt really looking forward to that, but for me that thing has blown my mind. Its bloody hard to keep the bike up when you get the back end out, but I se moments of brilliance from time to time, I can only imagine what some of the best guys here can do with that thing after a few weeks of practice.

I can se people doing the whole track with the back end out the whole way :)

I hope this encourages some more MX sim guys over, I think the back end was a big turn off for them wasnt it?

I've spent about an hour playing now after I got one of my custom bikes going in it (took me a bit to wrap my head around the linkage settings) ... You've done a great job! Thanks!

Huge improvement over B3, much more playable.  The added features are great, love that the track state is saved and has to be manually reset.  And I was wrong, speedway is totally possible.  ;)

Still feels and looks like the rear wheel is tracking too far inside the front wheel when turning.  Needs to be better at having rear wheel tracking outside of front wheel especially when exiting the corners.  This is where speed is made in real life, being able to keep the rear wheel sliding ever so slightly.  Admittedly my observations are mainly on the supermoto, there's too many other factors at work on a MX track to really see what is happening.  I would like to see a softer acting rear wheel.  Right now it really jumps out and back in quickly when sliding, in my experience the feel of this is much softer and not so violent.

Now I just need to figure out a flat track tire.  :)

As a long standing member of the GP Bikes community the major draw to MX Bikes was the prospect of a supermoto, the day that the preview video came out I bought a copy of MXB and waited patiently for the release that included it. I gotta say it is the most fun I've had in quite some time! Waaaay better than the two unofficial releases on the GPB forum. Piboso hit the nail on the head with the 450 Supermoto!  ;D

Tracks to spend time on with the supermoto to get a real feel for the versatility and fun of it:

RX track included in game, but if you don't like the dirt, or the single track, the following links are for some of the tracks I tested the GP Bikes KX450 SM on, others released after that were well suited for low displacement bikes. The 450 Supermoto in Beta4 is fantastic on them all, I love it, I've literally spent the past 3 and a half hours riding as hard as possible, dragging out long standup wheelies, backing it in like there is no issue at all doing so, and having an all out great time. Hope you all enjoy these tracks as much as I do.

Southern (All piboso titles) a few other tracks as well, all great quality! http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=3001.0

Landsard (KRP) http://forum.kartracing-pro.com/index.php?topic=5219.msg40341#msg40341

A7000 (All Piboso titles) "Public Road", tons and tons of fun, point to point, twisty, some awesome high speed sweepers. http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=1003.0

Mosport (KRP) https://mega.co.nz/#!Mtd2yJiZ!YPY7xS7hP1Qjuy1Vdt5VPBGjEThJbf_-TkbHNRTxH34

Lezennes (GPB) Rather tight track that lent itself well when I was helping private test the KX450-SM that was released on GPB forum. http://forum.piboso.com/index.php?topic=182.0

Funring 2013 (WRS/GPB) has a massive jump, a small jump, a bumpy corner, a smooth corner, a carousel corner, a fairly decent length strait section, and did I mention it has a big ramp to ramp jump? Seriously, if you only download one track to add to MXB that isn't motocross, it should be THIS one. http://gp-bikes-italia.forumfree.it/?t=66083246

To install, unzip your tracks.pkz so you have a regular "tracks" folder in the directory with it, and unzip your downloaded tracks into your newly created "tracks" folder in MX Bikes. I'm sure there is more detailed install directions around the forum, but that is the basic of, "Where do I put these?".

Some shots from today. Grimm, resident hooligan and stunt rider extraordinaire from the GP Bikes forum. Some of these "tricks" I crashed, but with practice could reproduce again and again. Piboso titles are some of the best out there. Niche market stuff like MX Simulator and Live For Speed are amazing in their own right, but Piboso is truly a master of the craft of good, evolving simulators.

Cant play till tomorow, how are you guys liking it so far? is there a big handling difference between lets say the 250f/450/2smoker/350f?

Thanks grimm!

It really is great to see the positive feedback all round so far. Last night I rode with stability on 100% but traction help off and the back end was hanging out in a controllable way around and out of most corners. The only downside was not being able to scrub properly with stability on 100 so that's the first thing I'll be working on lowering!

Can't wait to get back on it later!

GDUBMX

just a heads up im now constantly seeding the beta4.exe torrent at full speed so we should see significant speeds when downloading the torrent now. :)

Getting that now Gdub (and it's quicker than the mirror currently) and will do the same when it's finished.

Anyone up for an online session later if the servers are working? All aboard!

Absolutely teeds.. Really looking forward to getting online. Suggest when you have the servers up we try with deformation and if it all goes wrong without I guess?

Paradox28

I'm starting to have a lot more fun with the riding now that I'm getting used to how things changed.  Seems I can go over jumps at an angle now and it not totally freak the bike out, feel a lot more of the bumps and humps in the track surfaces now. Seems like the gyro effect of the rear wheel is a little better in the air, too?
