MXB Bikes Mod Dead?

A few people have left MXB until a new beta comes out, or the full release. But I've read some threads, and people say it takes about a month to make a bike. But it depends on if you do a realistic engine mapping (OEM), or if you use a mapping from an existing bike model.
My question is-
There hasn't been a new bike model in about 3 1/2 months. Whats the holdup?
There are a lot of W.I.P's that never get finished that I would like to see.
But my question is why? What is happening?

That sounded really arrogant until I read it again and even then I'm not sure..

People including myself have worked very hard over the past few years to try and create good solid content for MXB in the hope it would build the community. Unfortunately when you're doing it all the time and you see community members come and go because they don't like the current state of MXB or they get bored with the lack of content it really puts content creators off from making more.

Bikes take a lot of work, it's time I just don't have and I know others are in the same position. But you know the best thing you can do if you're not happy with the content available or the quality of content available and that's to have a go yourself. Learn how to make tracks, learn how to model and make bikes.

We all had to learn so it's another sore point that other people won't learn because they think their not good enough but at the same time want to know where all the content is!..

Sorry if I got the wrong end of that, your question is probably innocent but the answers are the same either way. It takes time people don't have and creators are put off by not having a community, especially when some of us have been spending the best part of 3 years trying to build one.

TFC pretty much summed it up.
I might add that it's not that fun to spend a lot of time on something... and then the next beta comes out making everything you did obsolete. So I also think there are modders waiting for a more finalized platform.

by the way, for me there is no problem of content. i think it's enough different bikes and tracks to race online and i dont understand why people do not compete.

+1 on content..

We have had a some good online racing action, don't worry.  This tends to happen when we are all itching for a new beta or full release. Hopefully we can find new inspiration for the community soon!

for me, i gave up after doing everything to try and get online. Complete reinstall, redownloading everything from scratch, starting a new profile...everything short of buying a new key.  I get a bike mismatch no matter what I do.  Because of that, I lost interest.
