Time between betas again!
« on: October 17, 2017, 06:01:22 PM »
I know it always goes quiet..

Had a few pm's recently but havent turned laptop on in weeks.. I just wanted to let people know I'm still lurking and will get to things eventually, but have a very busy life right now. Just about 3/4 way through buying our first house, kids first year at school, work has been very busy..  Will get to stuff eventually.

So I've been unwinding with some rocket league on Xbox one a couple of times a week when I do get to sit on my arse and not do anything.

What have you all been up to? How are you killing the time..

Sounds like some of yall only use your PC's to run MXB. I have an aging PS3 I use for movies and dumb gaming. I mostly run rFactor 2 on PC. Mostly. So many good mods! Otherwise, I'm waiting for B7 to re-install MXB and took a hiatus from MXS to concentrate on BF1, BF4, DiRT Rally, BeamNG Drive, Asshead-o Corset, Mirrors Edge 2, Battlefront and others. Guitar occasionally and keyboards rarely. No kids. :P

Not just from you though Phil, I'm getting behind! Problem is I might have an hour or two free, it will probably take an hour to get back on my pc!

You got it Pizza, mostly use my laptop for MXB ;)...

Hi guys! I've been watching the forum and clicking very hard "Show unread posts since last visit" waiting for a  "Beta 7 Released". When I have some free time I play GP Bikes and PES, lately i've been spending some hours with my summer car, a crazy "Survival"/Driving-Mechanics-Teenager-Simulator game.

Beta 6 was a step for Piboso Team, and I hope beta 7 will be "The BETA".

Ha.. yeah. I wondered if anyone else here did. I only have it in Xbox one though, and I'm a Pro rank but in no way does that mean I'm any good lol..

Is PES = "Porn Entertainment System"?

:)

Lol ;D

Currently I am living in Birmingham, UK. Been here since the first week of September and will go back home in the first week of February. I'm here for internship in digital products. Up until now I've been the main front-end developer in the company but I will probably get some back-end and design jobs as well.

Unfortunately I couldn't bring my whole gaming setup with me, so that's all back home still. That means that I can't play a lot of games these few months. I still am making content though. Still working on track designs, track objects, bike models etc.

In the main time I am learning how to code games. I released my first ever android game a couple of months ago and have followed a few other tutorials to get more familiar with C# coding. I'm still going to the gym 4 times a week like I've been doing back home and I try to play guitar every day (though it is more like once a week now.. really need to pick it up again).

I also may have my first real client. He wants a new section on his existing Wordpress website. I can make my own fully custom Wordpress themes so that shouldn't be a problem! I'm trying to expand my network a bit so when I'll start my own company in a couple of years it will be a bit easier to get work. If anyone here knows someone who needs either a webdesign, website itself, logo design, branding or anything like that. Hit me up.

When I released my android game I didn't want to spam this forum with a topic. Not sure if it's allowed or not so I just didn't do it. However I still think about making a topic to get some more exposure.
Anyway, for anyone who has an Android device and wants to try it out, here's the link to the google play store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.RukuStudios.Dodge

And here is the itch.io link:

LOOOOL. Pro evolution soccer, Asian games for european sports...hahaha.

Sandbiter, good to hear you're programming! C# is a very good language to start programming and very good one for games. I'm working in web development/branding/packaging design, I'm learning PHP(Laravel), JS(VueJS) and both SQL/noSQL databases. I have a base in PHP because I worked developing WordPress themes and Plugins for a company and the graphic part is more for money. People usually need more than one thing and they don't want to pay too much. Here in Spain small companies that want more web exposure or even their first website are not used to pay for graphic/web/advertising and they want a cheap all-in-one service. The keep seeing developers/graphic designers/digital marketers as the IT guy or geeks.

Good luck with your work!

I'll be watching your work. As soon I publish something I will show you mine.

Sounds good Paco. Can't wait to see some of your work!

I've actually been a multimedia design / development student for almost 4 years now. Finishing of my last year now. After this study I'll study for 5 more years on a higher level. That's when I'll focus more on back-end development as well.

A couple of days ago I bought an AngularJS course on udemy. Haven't done anything with it yet, but it should be good! Can't wait to start making some really cool stuff. Wordpress, html, css and jQuery are getting too easy (though, I don't understand a thing about the HTML5 canvas element). Saying jQuery is getting too easy is a lie as well. I consider myself a beginner at it, and at raw Javascript I'm a noob. Still plenty of stuff to learn!

In the main time I'm also trying to finish my kawi model before the sx '18 season  :-[

Been spending my time between beta's learning how to ride MX and get away from the SM's a bit. I can say it's been going okay, when we actually have populated servers in B7 I'll probably jump in and actually ride without humiliating myself on every jump.  ;D

On a side note, huge thanks to the track and bike makers. You guys rock, I've been loving MX Bikes more and more as I get into the community tracks and motocross bikes. Finding my years in the trails in real life is translating into MX Bikes the same way my years as a back road hooligan and knee dragging lunatic translate into GP Bikes.  ;)
