Fast Lap Challenge Series 3

What is the Fast Lap Challenge 3?

The fast lap challenge 3 is a 7 round series in the game of MX Bikes over 7 weeks using 7 different US National Replica tracks. Each track will be scored separately with an overall standings being tallied after each round with the competitor with the fastest lap time winning each round.

Competition Details

How To Enter

Entry is Free, to Enter a round of the Fast Lap Challenge 3, simply log in to the MX Bikes Forum and post 2 screenshots of your lap time from the game in the correct forum page of that round. The First Screenshot needs to be taken in Pit; Laps tab like so:

The second Screenshot needs to be taken of the exported lap time file. In the screenshot above, you can see the Export button below the Ideal Lap Time. Once exported, you can find the file in your 'my documents' folder; PiBoSo/MX Bikes/exports. Open in the file in your internet browser and take a screenshot of the results.

Both the lap times in the screenshots must line up correctly. Please see the cheating section of this document to see what are the consequences of manipulating a lap time.
You may only post one lap time each round. If any competitor posts multiple lap times, only the first lap time will be taken while the others will be discarded.
Any lap time posted after the round has finished will not count.

Scoring

Once a round has been completed, each competitors lap time will be documented and scored using the Olympic Style of Scoring. For example, the best lap time will score 1 Point, while the 15th best lap time will score 15 points.
If a competitor does not compete in a round, they will be given the score of last place + 2 for that round.
In the case of two or more competitors posting times that are exactly the same, they will be given equal points and the next competitor will be given points equal to the amount of people they are behind the leader. For example:
4th – 1:07:098 – 4 points
5th – 1:07:122 – 5 Points
5th – 1:07:122 – 5 points
7th – 1:07:144 – 7 points

Cheating/Manufacturing a Lap Time

There is absolutely no tolerance to cheating. If you are caught manufacturing a lap time, you will be immediately disqualified from the series and be striped of all points earned in previous rounds. You may also be suspended from possible future competitions.

What is required for a server running Glen Helen 2015 to post the lap records like from Forest and a few others?

Do you mean for it to post in records on the stat page? A few tracks on the record list don't record for some reason.

Yes. It must have something to do with how the track is made or how the server is setup. I thought it could be a third level of laptime verification.
