How can i fix this steering problem!?

Don't know if i am blind or what haha.... In the game, when i lean into a corner it restricts me and leans me back up. i have direct lean off and it still does this... I've seen vids on youtube of these guys with really smooth cornering and leaning but i cannot figure it out. Any suggestions or setups? Thanks.

direct lean on, hold the stick at an angle and your guy will lean at that angle until you let go of the stick... simple.. unless you play with a keyboard of course
