Game won't open from steam

Hello all!
I'm having an issue where my game will not open from steam, I press play...the screen blacks out as if it's opening then it just throws me back to steam and the "button" goes from 'close' to 'play' again.

Any ideas?
I've redownloaded the 14e update and copied it to the installation folder (Stream/steamapps/common/mxbikes) and that seems to of caused the issue.

You need to delete the profiles folder in your docs my buddy just had the same problem. but everytime you want to play you have to delete the folder which gets very annoying. Hopefully pibiso will tell us why
