global.ini questions

This doesnt work for me... OR i'm a bit confused. Please help... I cant install mods cause C: drive is taken up but if I move the folder to D: drive it doesnt work.. I added the lines but it still doesnt work. sorry to be a pain but please help.. I appreciate it. Thanks.

I put that in the global.ini folder.... I dont know what to do from there.. Thanks heaps for the reply btw I know I sound hella stupid im just pretty basic with computers. I dont get where that steam part comes from either haha oh no.. I need to move the mods folder basically to the D: drive instead of C:... obviously this post is what that's about I guess.. Im just clueless. I apologise

Yeah, simply do that... Modify the "folder=..." To "folder=C:\PathToYourFolder"
My screenshot is just an example how it could look like, I have my games in G:\ and obviously I store my mods in a mods folder inside the MX Bikes installation directory.
It could also be C:\MXB Mods\mods
