Ambient Color Adjustments

Just thought I'd drop this image pair for you all to see. I hadn't really played with the colors much until my second track but quickly noticed how many definitions it brought to the ground texture for me when I made the ambient color much darker. My sun settings are pretty low as well. It does require being more precise with the colors of your alpha channels (I believe they needed to be black) to stop the shadows from flairing at certain angles.

Food for thought. I'm sure mine may be overdone but it fit the sunset vibe I was shooting for. I had a couple of comments regarding my track being too dark. Could be due to this and a slower computer/narrow color gamut screen differences. LMK if you guys have had much luck with light settings or any tips you stick towards when playing with them if you have any.
