Hey all,

I am working on a custom background.edf

I can't seem to get the skybox to be in the correct orientation.  and what does show up in map viewer does not show up in game.

I have tried just rotating it with no luck.

i worked on this in the middle of the night so maybe I am missing something ha, any tips?

Here are some photos of the problem.

If your background is in the second screenshot in blender as the cube around your track, that is not how it works if you are using background.edf.  When using that, or one of the skies skydomes, the game will enlarge the model and always keep it centered under the rider.  So when building background.edf or your sky dome, you should have them placed at world origin in Blender or your 3D software.

If you want those planes to be situated on your track, then you need to include them in one of your track scenes that get baked into the map, which then limits it to the max draw distance the user is using - unlike the background.edf or sky domes which are always visible.
