Hi everyone,

I wanted to share with you a track building project and if some people are interested in it, I'll make it real.

I found a way to import a tracks from the Ubisoft game "Trackmania" into MXB (as an object) and it makes very fun supermoto tracks !

I'm talking about this Trackmania by the way :

I was thinking about making a few tracks so we could organize some kind of championships out of it.

However, I'd like to have some help from the community.
First of all I thought it could be nice if the tracks were designed by you guys (for those who have the game of course)
You would then send me your TM track and I'd import it into MXB

Perhaps, I would also need some help for texturing. Indeed when I extract the track from TM, It comes without the textures and I'd need some help to make it look nice with Blender (I applied some colors of course but it looks pretty bad at the moment). If anyone feels comfortable with that part of the project, it could help.

By the way, here are the rules for creating a track on TM that can be import to MXB

- Forget about loopings, MXBike doesn't support vertical surfaces for riding so it just doesn't work  :'(
- This Mxbike limitation also makes pure wallrides impossible but perhaps we can cheat by giving them a bit of lean angle (I haven't try it yet)
- Keep in mind that dirt bikes are slower than TM cars so try to avoid very fast portions
- The road sections suddenly making the car faster don't work in MXB of course
- The TM checkpoints are useless in mxbike unless you want it for decoration
- Avoid using too much decoration objects unless you're able to create them yourself (A little bit of decoration is ok but that represents a lot of work for me)
- Try to make the road part as smooth as possible, It's important because MXB doesn't support very well when the bike hit the asphalt very hard. For example, short jumps (like the one on the picture) seems difficult to handle for MXB, it's better to use long jumps.

Let me know if this project could interest some of you !
